What I will say to you tin foil hats that think the draw is rigged, and use the eg of the numbered balls without names to back your theory up..
I can't remember what team it was but I'm 90% confident it was Heidelberg when they were drawn against Broadmeadow Magic. I saw a live stream of Heidelbergs team reaction to the draw as they were watching it and being filmed at the same time, and they knew what number they were. So it was like "Number 12..... Broadmeadow Magic. Will play against.... Number 22... *cue Heidelberg boys going fxxxing nuts* ... Heidelberg". Like I said, I was confident it was that game but if it wasn't I know it was one of the FFA Cup draws that happened in.

So I have extreme confidence that somewhere, somehow, clubs are informed what number they are before the draw.

Frozen balls vs hot ones - I've got no answer for that though

+xI wonder where City will take their game against WSW? Surely not AAMI Park. Maybe back to Epping or Ballarat? Kardinia Park in Geelong is probably available and willing. If Kardinia, I'd go to that as a neutral.

+x+x+x+xNot sure if it's been mentioned yet, but congrats to Devonport getting the biggest crowd of the matchday with 3,168. Perth v Sydney drew 2,661, Edgy v WSW got 2,616 and Knights v Green Gully got 2,472. Honestly that's truly incredible. I've been to Devonport before. It's really nothing more than a small port town.  That has to be around 1/4 of the entire population.  Not to mention they had an active and supporter base.  Great achievement for Devvo. Tassie football punching above once again. Those figures are amazing. Per capita, that attendance is sky high. Good to see the Cup unite the people. For those outside of the 5 big capitals, this tournament is a great way to excite the locals.

+xHave they named the tv games yet? Surely Vision FC is one of them - no way Fox Sports would miss the chance to leverage the Cahill Circus. As for the other one, I think it's between the Vuck or the SFC game. Magic of the cup stuffs etc etc. I know Fox Sports have broadcast the TV game from Bentleigh before, so they may go for that again.

I think BG MV is the more interesting fixture.  BC v WSW may have been good, but BC v SFC feels a bit flat.

+xWell that confirms either Sydney Derby or Sydney vs City in the Cup. I reckon they'll do it and have it @ somewhere big in Sydney to cash in on Cahill affect. -PB huh?

good to see 3 of the QF's being televised both Melbourne games are in the first week which makes sense as the 2nd week might get drowned out in a media sense by the AFL Grand Final Bentleigh and Canberra are also playing in the National NPL Playoffs which is why it is good to have their FFA Cup games on a Wednesday night between the NPL Quarters and NPL Semis. Using last week's Club Rankings the FFA Cup QF's arehttp://forum.insidesport.com.au/2191670/AustralianClubRankings?PageIndex=9 3rd vs 5th (Melb City vs WSW) 8th vs 2nd (Bentleigh vs Victory) 11th vs 7th (Blacktown vs Sydney FC) 29th vs 27th (Canberra vs Green Gully) I can't see the Canberra vs Green Gully game being televised over Bentleigh and Victory.  The winner will be in the semis and will get a televised game then.

+xIs anyone able to provide me with the crowd figures for all Newcastle FFA Cup games in the past? I'm talking both Jerks v Glory, Jerks v Victory, Magic v Heidelberg & Strikers, Edgy v City & WSW. Just wanted to compare the stated crowds for all the games held @ Magic Park, if someone has that info somewhere.  Really enjoyed being at Edgy v WSW. WSW were just too good - they clearly wanted it and worked hard for it. The scoreline blew out a bit and I don't think it is a fair assessment on how much Edgy held their own, but apart from one goal that seemed a routine keeper save plus Santa's last goal I think probably should have been a defensive header but Santa just got to it and finished it nicely.  Where I stood, it ended up the RBB decided to make camp right next to me. Fair play to them, they made it up for a midweek late kickoff and created as much atmosphere as they could. And they were extremely well behaved. +xGiven the relative squads tonight, the better team probably won but I think Perth has much more room for improvement. I guess the final will have to be somewhere in the Eastern States again now

This is why we are all paying for him, because he is so important to the whole of Australia. He is a globally significant wetland

			    Thanks heaps for the table! Did some quick number crunching (may be wrong, went through these quickly) and pulled these average attendances: By state excluding their A-League clubs: | VIC | 2768 | | TAS | 2353 | | NSW | 2337 | | ACT | 2274 | | NT | 2267 | | QLD | 2075 | | WA | 1924 | | SA | 1576 | By state including their A-League clubs: | VIC | 3836 | | TAS | 2353 | | NSW | 2670 | | ACT | 2274 | | NT | 2267 | | QLD | 2170 | | WA | 2678 | | SA | 4047 | By opposition: | All A-League | 5144 | | 1 A-league | 3747 | | No A-league | 1394 |

			    Based purely off a very quick statistical model I made up my predictions for attendances are: | MCYvWSW | 4571 | | COLvGRG | 2800 | | BLAvSFC | 3717 | | BGRvMVC* | 4105 | *capped at 3,300 if played at Bentleigh's ground.

+x+xIs anyone able to provide me with the crowd figures for all Newcastle FFA Cup games in the past? I think there was one extremely drunk & bearded Novocastrian who attempted to rile them up but it was just shrugged off really. Mcbreen slapping that guy was hilaaaaaarious, and done completely cheekily. The RBB seemed to have a great laugh about it too. Interesting to note - RBB weren't allowed fence banners. Got told that "it was a new FFA rule that no actives are allowed fence banners".  I'll just do all games from all cups to date (R32 through to GF) for the sake of completeness/OCD (obsessive crowds disorder, fucking debilitating mate) Gracias amigo! OCD

+x+x+xHave they named the tv games yet? Surely Vision FC is one of them - no way Fox Sports would miss the chance to leverage the Cahill Circus. As for the other one, I think it's between the Vuck or the SFC game. Magic of the cup stuffs etc etc. I know Fox Sports have broadcast the TV game from Bentleigh before, so they may go for that again. I think BG MV is the more interesting fixture.  BC v WSW may have been good, but BC v SFC feels a bit flat.  Any game with Sydney FC in it would feel flat to you, wouldn't it.

+xInteresting to note - RBB weren't allowed fence banners. Got told that "it was a new FFA rule that no actives are allowed fence banners".  Yeah, nah. I call bullshit on that one. Probably more like the RBB aren't allowed fence banners. The Cove had fence banners in Wollongong, and I'm fairly sure I saw a couple in Perth last night too. The Perth Active Support had at least 1.

The Perth Active Support had at least 1.  Probably a new rule for WSW fans and rightly so. Give them an inch and they'll take a mile.

+xDates to be advised on Friday for the FFA Cup quarter finals. I'm looking at the Sportsmate A-League app and the dates are already in there, unless they are wrong?

Surely it's more trouble than it's worth to move Bentleigh vs Vuck to anywhere other than Kingston Heath. Moorabbin Oval (St Kilda AFL) is the only biggish ground anywhere close to and it's pretty much a dump. South Melbourne might open up Lakeside for them in the name of the #hellanicbrotherhood but it is genuinely halfway across the city and then Hume will lose their shit for not being allowed to move their own game away from ABD Stadium.
