+x+xFuck this, I don't want to have to drive to shitty Edensor when I can walk and get on the beers at Blacktown, plus the ground is 100x better and isn't missing any seats (LOL).I understand why Blacktown have done it but would be better at Lily's. Whilst the Seven Hills Tavern does offer ridiculously cheap beers, and the local Pizza Hut is always on hand for a cheeky feed, one can't beat cevapi at Edensor. That's the spin I'm going to put on it. Blacktown's catering really is shocking. And their alcohol license is fucked too. You right TripAdvisor poetry.

+xI am hearing that the reason for the change is because of the lighting issue, and Blacktown doesnt meet the LUX level against HAL teams. They need to upgrade the lighting which could cost around $300k. Sydney United Sports Centre upgraded the LUX levels 2 years ago when we played Sydney FC, hence why the move to Edensor. Your club has done well and deserves plaudits.

Cheltenham soccer ground gets $34,000 makeover ahead of Melbourne Victory visit
THE race is on to prepare the Kingston Heath Soccer Complex for the Bentleigh Greens’ David-versus-Goliath match against Melbourne Victory.
The Greens go head-to-head with Victory in a mouth-watering FFA Cup quarter-final later this month.
The club and Kingston council will spend $34,000 upgrading lighting at the ground to allow the September 27 game to be televised.
Council’s city assets and environment general manager Daniel Freer said the game would be a major coup for the area.
“The event will attract thousands of visitors to the region which will provide a great boost for the club and surrounding businesses,” he said.
“It will also promote the incredible community sporting facilities on offer in Kingston.”
Bentleigh Greens secretary Abraam Gregoriou said the club would field its “strongest team in 10 years” against Victory.
“We’ve got a totally different team to when we played Perth (Glory) in 2014 with some really exciting young talent,” he said.
“We’re fresh off winning the State Cup so we’re in good form.”
While coy about the Greens’ chances of snatching an unlikely win against the might of Victory, Mr Gregoriou expected an enthralling contest.
Fox Sports has announced it will broadcast the 7.30pm game live. The match is expected to draw a capacity crowd topping 3200.
Mr Gregoriou said hosting the “most successful club in the A-League” would encourage new sign-ups. The club already boasts two senior and 15 junior teams.
Mr Gregoriou said light globes in towers around the ground needed to be upgraded prior to kick-off.
“Council has come on board to help us meet infrastructure requirements and will also help us with crowd control and security.”
Mr Freer said $3.3m was spent on the complex in 2010 to install two synthetic pitches, electronic scoreboards, lighting and expand the pavilion and improve coaches boxes and the ticket box.

+x+xThe FFA came to Blacktown at the start of the year asking, If your game was to be televised where would you want to play it that has good lighting. They put down Edensor park as Blacktown doesn't have the best lighting, If it's good enough to play Sydney United there, then it is good enough to play Sydney FC. These lighting requirements are a load of bullshit. Yeah, ignore what is required for decent viewing lol

It's got nothing to do with lighting for the cameras. It all comes down to insurance.
