+x+xChampionship Team of the Week for Aaron Mooy
I'll reserve my judgement until I observe how Mooy's team plays. At the moment, better than their opponents.

+x+x+xChampionship Team of the Week for Aaron Mooy
I'll reserve my judgement until I observe how Mooy's team plays. At the moment, better than their opponents. They've already gone away to Newcastle and Villa, draw and a win from those games. Also beaten Brentford, Barnsley, Wolves and Leeds. Most 'experts' predicted they'd be relegated. Long season yes, but brilliant start. Mooy started every game, only being subbed once.

Am looking forward to celtic vs barca match. One of the biggest club games we've had an aussie in for a while, mostly because of what rogic could actually do, sure we had mcdonald play them in the same situation but rogic is a game breaker. Though he could quite possibly get really caught out he's looking good and if could put in a good showing it would be fantastic!

Not long ago, many on here were saying how dumb a decision it was for both Mooy and Rogic. Both looking inspired decisions. Personally I thought it was a good move for Mooy, but didn't think he'd excel like he has. Pleasently be not only proved wrong but surprised, reminds me of the old days when you'd be proud of players doing well overseas.

If it doesn't go all that well (either the match or drinking) I will play the recording of last Saturdays match to cheer me up.

One thing we have going for us is history. Rodgers is the now the 3rd manager from Norm Iron since the turn of this century, with that past two Norn Iron managers beating Barcalona in their first season at Celtic (be it at Celtic Park), so who knows, maybe qe can cause an upset (though I won't be putting my house or car on Celtic winning).

It's going to be busy tomorrow morning in the championship. We have QPR, Huddersfield, PNE, and Burton all playing at the same time at 4:45aest.

An article/ Interview with Tom Rogic RE: Barca match...
Tom Rogic: We want to follow in footsteps of Celtic legends and beat Barca
ONE game, instant legends. Tom Rogic knows beating Barcelona would secure Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic team’s place in the history books. Alan Thompson’s goal in a 1-0 Uefa Cup win over the Catalans in 2004 was a sweet, stunning surprise at Celtic Park for Martin O'Neill’s team.
When Neil Lennon’s Hoops repeated the feat in Paradise in 2012 courtesy of Tony Watt’s winner, it was hailed by some as a result second only to their European Cup triumph of 1967.
Now Aussie midfielder Rogic desperately hopes Rodgers’ vintage can top that with an unbelievable triumph over Barca in their own backyard.
Rogic is in the frame for the No10 role again, just 72 hours after helping inspire Celtic’s 5-1 drubbing of Rangers.
He said: “There is a bit of history between Celtic and Barcelona and there have been some fantastic results for us.
“You would say they were historic moments, pretty special results to remember.
“This is an opportunity for us, as a new crop of players, to do that. An opportunity for us to write history and do something special.
“It’s massive and it’s something we’re not taking lightly. Hopefully it will be a great night.”
Rogic, 23, arrived at Celtic just two months after Lennon’s Bhoys defeated an awesome Pep Guardiola side which included the likes of Lionel Messi, Xavi and Andres Iniesta.
Since then he has craved the chance to one day join that famed squad that sparked headlines all over the globe and in the club’s history books.
Rogic is convinced Celtic are capable of celebrating another unforgettable Champions League glory night.
He said: “You expect the best players to be playing for Barcelona.
“I know a few of them were rested at the weekend and spent time on the bench, but I would expect them all to be fit and firing for this match.
“It’s going to be difficult either way. They are one of the best teams in the world and they don’t make a habit of losing or dropping points.
“They will be looking to get a result and bounce back from their slip-up against Alaves. We expect a difficult match.
“Yes, it is a glamorous match in some respects, but we believe in ourselves. We are not here just to make up the numbers and participate in the tournament. Far from it.”
The last time Celtic were here — December, 2013 — they lost 6-1, but Rogic revealed Rodgers has his players believing anything is possible.
The emphatic result and performance in the Old Firm derby has left the Hoops squad high on confidence.
Rogic added: “It is matches like this where we have to be ready and be together as a squad. Whichever way we shape up, we know we can do a job here and take something from the match.
“At the minute we are in a good place. The manager has brought a lot to the club and has taken us to a new level.
“The way we are playing at the moment, and with the quality we have, we should go into every match believing we can get a result. This is no different.
“We have been quite flexible since the manager came in and we’ve changed our shape a number of times. We will have to wait and see what the manager decides.
“You have to be wary and ready for Barcelona.
“You can enjoy every match. It’s not necessarily always about having the ball all of the time. It’s what you do with it when you do have it.
“It’s going to be difficult, but we have the quality to create chances and score goals. That’s what we will be looking to do at times in the match, and hopefully, we can get a result.
“Saturday was maybe the perfect way to come into this match. Take away the international break and we’ve been building momentum.
“We’re in this competition after two years out and it’s night’s like this we have wanted as a club and that the fans deserve. This is where we want to be competing.
“We’re in a tough group and all three teams pose massive threats. I don’t think we can look at one match as being the hard one, and just looking to get it out of the way.
“We go into every match wanting to do a job. We want to make it through.
“You’re talking about some of the best players in the world, but you want to test yourself against them.
“It’s the pinnacle of club football in the Champions League. It’s something for us to look forward to, embrace and be ready for.”
(goal different), a team from Kazakhstan and a team from Israeli to get into the Champion League , but Celtic can't get that lucky every year.....Rogic has to leave Celtic both players talent is being wasted because they are Australian

90 minutes for Degenek. 2-1 win away to Nuremberg. 90 minutes for Jamieson. 3-1 loss away to Malmo. 90 minutes for Amini. Ikon came on in the 66th minute. 3-1 win against Nordsjaelland. Birighitti also started for Swansea U23.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+x+xChampionship Team of the Week for Aaron Mooy
I'll reserve my judgement until I observe how Mooy's team plays. wagner is klopp best mate. best man at his wedding and managed dortmund 2 while klopp watched over the first team. from what ive seen they have a lot of similarities. if wagner finished in the top half of the table with hudderrs i would expect a bundes 1 team to take him on fairly soon.
