Prob the worst i saw was in season 3 when Victory hosted Sydney FC at Etihad. TAC were our sponsors and at HT played a video with kids chanting trying to get the crowd signing "keeping the support...aaahlive, keeping the support ahhhhlliiivveee"
Similar to "ohhhhh Melbourne we love you".

Sponsor logos all over cheer squad flags, banners and the like is pretty piss poor but widely accepted.

I'm sure Richmond got the crowd to try and sign "horses" at half time because Bingle are their sponsors and wanted to replicate their ad.

Adelaide had Stuart O'Grady then he got replaced by Lleyton Hewitt.

O'grady  was clearly better, as he lived in Europe and knew & liked football, Hewitt thought Aussie-rules was better + he's a tool.

Yeah I couldn't really get my head around it, because JB migrated from Glasgow and lived in Elizabeth + his brother played for my local NPL team, so his connection with football in Sydney was tenuous at best - but hey why turn away a paying gig?
