Jim Mowing sponsoring Adel Utd deserves on honourable mention.
Prob the worst i saw was in season 3 when Victory hosted Sydney FC at Etihad. TAC were our sponsors and at HT played a video with kids chanting trying to get the crowd signing "keeping the support...aaahlive, keeping the support ahhhhlliiivveee" Similar to "ohhhhh Melbourne we love you". I honestly couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it.

The ALF has some of worst shit marketing to its fans.
Sponsor logos all over cheer squad flags, banners and the like is pretty piss poor but widely accepted.
I'm sure Richmond got the crowd to try and sign "horses" at half time because Bingle are their sponsors and wanted to replicate their ad.

I have no idea about film editing and production stuff, but it looks like Brankos been pasted into that, like he's done it on a green screen or something. Either way, cringeworthy as fuck/

+xThis was pure cringe. Sydney FC had just been dicked then drawn and quartered by Melbourne Victory in one of the most one sided grand finals since 6-0 and then this happened. Your obsession with us is getting disturbing. Please don't have a mental breakdown.

+x+x+xWho's dissing the wsw meal from maccas. Id murder c***s for discount kfc for mv members Those were good days. Legit surprised there isn't like 10% off for members Used to be, ages ago. Or free upsizes or something like that. I think that's how we signed Hernandez. One of the Victory board members owns like half the KFC franchises in the country, btw, hence the long term sponsorship.

+x+x+x+x* Excluding Tim Cahill The woman who won the first Masterchef is now CCMs #1 ticketholder Julie Goodwin, Born and raised at Niagara Park, 2 suburbs away from the CCM home ground and is a highly popular presenter on a Central Coast radio station. Is also still producing cookbooks (new one just out) and doing cooking appearances, so a nice link between our local media and our sponsors. Makes sense to me, what do you find awkward about it? I'm curious of this #1 ticket holder thing. Is it an AFL knock-off ? And who used to be #1 ? would love to know who she toppled. Interestingly it is on Wikipedia as a mainly Australian thing. I actually thought it was a US thing so there you go. The A-League has had another #1 ticket holder in the past: Melbourne Heart had Jon Bon Jovi in 2010. Adelaide had Stuart O'Grady then he got replaced by Lleyton Hewitt. O'grady was clearly better, as he lived in Europe and knew & liked football, Hewitt thought Aussie-rules was better + he's a tool.

What does a #1 ticket holder actually do and/or what privileges does #1 status bestow? What distinguishes them the #1 (in practical terms) from the #2? Sounds like a wank to me.

+xDidn't SFC do something cringe worthy involving Jimmy Barnes? Yeah I couldn't really get my head around it, because JB migrated from Glasgow and lived in Elizabeth + his brother played for my local NPL team, so his connection with football in Sydney was tenuous at best - but hey why turn away a paying gig?

+x+xDidn't SFC do something cringe worthy involving Jimmy Barnes? The greatest song ever made. Best enjoyed after a bottle of Vodka. Thing is, it's quite likely the best-known post-1996 Barnesy song ;)

Hooking up with Kim Clijsters(whose dad played for Belgium @ Mexico '86) *did* give him a legit appreciation of the game in the end, AFAIK. He was still a cocksucker of a bloke as a player tho.
