+x+x+xThe transition from Ange's team to Muscat's team is complete. You mean the budget discrepancy isn't a factor. Keen to rub salt when it's you. Perth beat them there a few days ago with that budget. If we lose to City on the weekend so be it. We didn't use that excuse when we lost to you saturday night and you've always had a more expensive squad than us. Chin up sunshine. That's from choice and because your owners don't value Adelaide United. We can't help that.

No the fact victory would rather bare knuckle brawl than play football. Would love to see Timmy get knocked out but, alas. Obviously you've never seen a bare knuckle brawl in your life. You can think what ever you want. I can assure its very wrong considering I've been a part time bouncer for over 8 years.

+x+xFucking bullshit. Melbourne could only muster 15k to a semi-final derby, after only getting 15k to last years final. Given we haven't won silverware in years, I guarantee Sydney would have pulled 20k or so. Now you can settle for 10k if you're lucky. Good one FFA. Because your fans would have gotten a better turn out, good joke. Yeah, we would. We haven't won silverware in years. This would be of been a huge game for us. But I guess we won't get a chance to show it and instead will be looking at a wall of green seats.

MV still have their history but they've run out of the benefits from their Ange era, all the good stuff is in the past. Looking forward to going on a bit of a winning streak against these cünts. You're off to a good start. 0 wins so far

Let's hope the FFA have learnt from last year and don't jack the ticket prices because it's in Melbourne. Hopefully half the price they were last year to get AAMI near full.

Lol its not going to fill midweek..cahill being star attraction means ticket prices are unlikely to be dropped. I dont think the top tiers will even open to be honest.

The FFA Cup Final needs to be pitched as more of a focal point in the season calendar. A midweek game hosted by City has underwhelming written all over it.
I know there was talk at one stage about holding it on Australia Day. It needs something like this to really stand out and build a following, a la the Anzac Day game in the AFL.

was going to be a hard pitch either way they went.
if the ffa chose sydney, they wouldve been called greedy for wanting to cash in since sydney fc would surely pull a better crowd than city.
instead theyve chosen melbourne, they will settle for a crowd around or below 20k however they might get their cahill fairytale.

So far, 30 games with an average of 2,869. Impressive. What was last seasons average.

Imagine the ratings if the was a weekend cup final with decent prices, and no other A league on. I'm sure you could get a huge crowd and massive tv ratings.

Just got home feel deflated as hell. We arent at a crossroads we dont even have our liscence yet.
Cup final should defs been on a weekend. Should be a stand alone game on a weekend with no other football on but this is the FFA and logic aint there strongpoint.
To the little shit in the toilet who bumped into me and called a mate and i "victory dogs". hope it was worth it when you got your ass handed to you two seconds later for picking on the wrong person. Why the fuck cant people just go and enjoy football.

On this game and their match on Saturday, Victory are looking like a rough team, particularly when frustrated. I don't know if their hard tackling is an intentional tactic by Muscat to unsettle opposition playmakers or if it's just pure frustration but the refs might need to start being harsher before we see more serious injuries.
