+x+xAnd people call syd fc a joke??? Already beating them for home games this season. This year with their bigger stadium the truth will come out. Seems we now know whos been selling pet memberships dont we. That crowd for the wanderers is quite frankly hilarious. Who do u sing for? No one much but we still like to beat our chest and claim we da biggest club in sydney lol. Was a good night weather wise too. Looking forward to the excuses flooding through. I will only compare like for like. They aren't playing at their home. No chance. It is their home for the next 3 YEARS!! And their members all voted for it as well, so they can't use the excuse "but but its at an afl oval and the ffa fucked us over whinge whinge whinge..." Bad crowd figure. Very bad when u consider the crap they go on about being so large if their stadium wasn't capped they's be "Huuuuge"

+xSome of the comments on here are truly laughable especially from SFC supporters ffs. You have had 10 years to get your shit together, your club membership should be miles in front of ours, it isn't, so shut the f... up. It's only 3 rounds in the season you can't make any serious comparisons in crowd numbers until you have at least played everyone at home at least once. You then you need to make comparisons to the various timeslots your playing. Will Sydney FC play a team on Sunday 7pm with school the next day. Then we can compare a crowd of 13.5k vs maybe 8-10k. The FFA knows it would be a disaster putting SFC at that time slot. It would be too embarrassing for them. Make like to like comparisons or just shut up would be the better response. Actually Sydney will be playing at 7pm on Sunday against Victory in a few weeks time so we'll soon find out. I like it how now the excuse is "but but sydney fc have had 10 years to get it right and should be miles in front." Fact of the matter is that WSW supporters love to tell us how big they are as a supporter group and that if they were playing in a bigger stadium they would be smashing Syd FC, but really the only place they are beating Sydney FC is in memberships and by the looks of it for pets and toddlers. Well done WSW hope you get your memberships past 20k soon and you can claim to have more pets and kids involved.. Rather than deflecting take a look and ask yourselves "shit why aren't our members turning up" rather than having a shot at Syd FC. We managed to once again get a larger number where it counts, on the sidelines. You need the derby just as much as we do to get those really large numbers.

That's still not a like for like comparison FFS. Victory is our biggest match outside of the derby. I will tell you one thing historically speaking this SHOULD be one of your lowest drawing matches against Victory because normally this match is played on a Saturday night. Fair comment you think.

Typical Wanderers fans. Talk shit non-stop about Sydney FC and when they get called out on their own circumstances, have a sook and start throwing out excuses.
As has been said, it was not a bad crowd, but it is disappointing compared to what would have been expected based on the claims of Wanderers fans regarding capacity constraints at Pirtek and how that would all change. If you can't hack being called out on it, then perhaps reserve judgement and hold your opinion back when you start rabbiting on about how a 15,000+ crowd for Sydney is disappointing without consideration of the factors which may also have an impact on us.
On a side note, I find it funny that any families would be keen on the Wanderers. Between some of the lovely lads in the RBB who look to punch on at every opportunity, the constant marine safety displays, and role models like Bulut and Santalab for the youngin's to look up to, it really comes across as such a family-friendly club. Just get used to turning a blind eye and looking the other way I guess eh?

This is extra revenue that the FFA and clubs never had. Gets the member fed clubs involved. Connects the grassroots with the top tier.
And people still doubt the cup..

Recently saw this list about attendances around the world, not sure how recent this list was whether it be 1 season ago or this season not sure.
But the A League ranks 15th in the world which i think is actually quite damn good.

Just to clarify, the final would need 27,035 for this year's cup to match last year's aggregate. We need around 7k to beat the first year aggregate which seems doable, but it's City so you never know...
