Apparently Roar v Glory PAX is 14,586 which is similar to the victory game the day before so it might crack 15k

+xMelbourne City v Adelaide United - 10,053 Newcastle Jets v Sydney FC - 11,873 WESTERN SYDNEY WANDERERS VS CENTRAL COAST MARINERS - 12168 (insert wsw/rbb excuses here) SFC literally had this same game two weeks ago and cope abuse for the poor crowd. Fyi this is not a bad crowd. But dont through stones when you live in a glass house boys.

Only difference was that Sydney's game was a 5:30pm kick-off on a beautiful, hot, sunny day when people could have still been laying on the beach. Oh, and the other difference being we still had an extra 3,000 in attendance.

Let's not pick on WSW too much they do have a 29k average attendance this year, just behind Victory with an average of 43k

+x+x+x+x+xSo after three rounds, the only teams to give a higher attendance than Brisbanes first game was the two derbies. To be fair, its Brisbanes biggest game of the season also. Were also top the league for most of last season. Fact is, despite Wanderers' higher membership numbers, both Sydney clubs are about neck and neck.
Seems there are a lot of Wanderers 'fans' that only turn up to games like the one at ANZ, probably bought a shirt in the inaugural season and have probably only been to 3 or 4 games since. ... Lets wait till wanderers have a game on Saturday night/day or even Sunday day before we throw out lines like Sydney is neck and neck with Wanderers lmfao. How about now? And you are right, lmfao at being neck and neck. Always in our shadow. Most of your "members" only turn up to see us play.

Fans that were not memebers. Unlike WSW who can't get their own memebrs to go to games.

13,000 for the Wanderers is pathetic. Is the stadium far from Pirtek? Doesn't seem so from looking at google maps

+x13,000 for the Wanderers is pathetic. Is the stadium far from Pirtek? Doesn't seem so from looking at google maps It's relatively easy to get to. It's just that it is the worst stadium to watch football in that has ever been used in the A-League.

These are the things that figures don't show. We can already see that WSW are not gonna have the expected 18k plus crowds at every home game, and you can see why. The pitch looks in great nick, but the atmosphere is diluted, because the fans are sitting 100m away from the pitch. It's just too far! This is why oval grounds don't work for our game...

Don't get me wrong, I agree watching football in an oval is pretty shit. Surely Campbelltown or Penrith would have been better interim options. If I was a neutral I would prefer to watch it on TV too. But when it is your team, you suck it up and get along and support them.

Its the absolute minimum teams should be getting and we should be aiming for 15k as the norm (stadium limitations excluded)

Try getting to this ground from Campbelltown or Penrith, easy 1hour30 trip maybe more. But as a wanderers fan these first 2 crowds at spotless have been underwhelming.

Having games at Docklands is nothing like moving games from Parra to Olympic park, silly comparison.

Wsw are just a bunch of pretenders. whats going on here wsw "fans" that pet membership tally must be really bloody high. Please save ur pathetic excuses. the number of times weve had to listen to the crap come out about sydney fc getting shit crowds at 15k in a big stadium. seems like wsw cant even manage 50% capacity in a 24k cap. in fact gws seem to almost get bugger crowds. Thats just laughable. "Who do we sing for?" Yeah seriously who do u sing for? Sounds like its time for your tight arse owner pull out the cheque book because clearly u need a marquee to lift those shameful crowds

Seems like they would have had no issues at all.

So before the fans have had a chance to experience this shit atmosphere (despite voting for the stadium to be their new home ground) as they havent even attended, they have already made up their minds? Just more excuses from the deluded club that likes to claim they are the biggest club in sydney.
