Personally I like 10 ep seasons, i think they pack more into episodes which is part of what makes them great.

Generally with 20+ episode seasons you start getting monster of the week episodes. I dont think i even watch any shows that are 20+ eps anymore, plus they can be annoying to binge watch with such a large amount of episodes. Good luck watching supernatural from the start

Netflix shows usually have 13 episodes, and theyre very descent.

Anyone a fan of Peep Show here?

Every single episode is on YouTube, one of the funniest shows I've ever watched.

I don't hate them per say, it's just I find I want more with most of these shows because there are so good etc Game of Thrones. I also love long seasons as well and know what you mean about monster of the week fill in eps. Supernatural is one of my favourite shows, probably been through all the seasons 3 times now  and some of those fill in eps have been some of the best and funny moments even though it is has a supernatural theme.

Outrageously great show.

Super keen for Pacific Heat, a new show by Working Dog. Apparently airs 8pm on Sunday on Comedy Channel. Apart from it being by the Working Dog boys, I know nothing about it. An insanely quick glance at it, it basically seems like Working Dog's version of Archer which I can fully get on board with.

Well well well, I had a funny feeling Bernard had a bigger history, almost as soon as you realised there was meant to be a third person in that photo, coupled with the notation that they were programmed not to see certain things (the door in the house for instance).

Well done HBO, have a ripper show on your hands.

No idea where this is gonna go for Season 2 though lol

Currently in the slog that is Mad Men.

Absolutely gutted though, I'm midway thru S07 and for some reason I had myself convinced that there were 10 seasons. Only to find out yesterday that S07 is the final season. There's still so, so much to do - and so few episodes to do it! I'm going to be distraught to finish this. I'm actively trying to avoid watching still, so I don't have to say goodbye

It was.... ehhhhh.. I built it up a lot in my mind before watching. I guess I expected it to hit Archer heights instantly, particularly with the guys involved with the show. But ehhh, for now. Santo Cilauro's character is painfully basic, I'm hoping they dial that back.

I'll keep watching every week though. Worth the watch for sure.

Here is a list of the top 10 episodes on tv for 2016

Courtesy of vulture.com

"Some notable programs that didn't make my Top 10 list — such as USA's Mr. Robot and HBO's Westworld — were so formally ambitious that they deserve respect, too; their failures are more interesting than most other shows' successes."

So when will they cover these failures?

Pacific Heat episode 2 wasn't anything to rave home about either. Was probably better than the first ep but still, not a show I'd demand everyone go watch. Looks like we're stuck with Santo's character being incredibly painful too, that wasn't let up at all. The best parts of the show are honestly the casual racism, which is basically any Working Dog show/movie strong point already

Anyone been keeping up with the recent season of South Park? One of my favourite ever shows, but I just can't get into this season like I usually do. And I think even the show is taking the piss out of the hole they've dug themselves into. It's just not vintage SP where every ep is a banger. It's a struggle to get thru for me, and I honestly just want this current storyline they're labouring thru to finish.

I'm still really enjoying South Park, but it's basically a new show. Up until a couple of seasons ago it was about the 4 boys and how they interacted with everyone. Now the show is about the whole town and it's lost a bit imo. Also I don't love the whole season being one continuous story, it means they can't be as ridiculous as before.

Thank god I was convinced to push through the awful that was season 3 of house of cards. I'm half way through season 4 and it's back to its best.

I agree.  Last series was good with the PC principal bloke but each ep was more or less self contained albeit with an overarching storyline.

This season is just like a 3 hour long movie. Still some gold in there though.  For example when the bloke who was trolling (his name escapes me) and his wife caught him on the net and he made up some shit story about 'golden showers' and then she then rocks up in her suspenders and proceeded to piss all over him while he was saying ' I love it' , 'so warm' made me laugh my head off.

My wife walked out of the room.

Ha ha.  Found it.

Ep 3 wasn't a step up either. I think it's safe to say it's got a clearly defined level and probably won't stray too much from that. I'll still watch it, but I doubt I'd ever rewatch it.

Veep is 11th on that list.

I'm into Season 5 after watching the previous 4 over the last few weeks.

Great show with great characters.  Jokes by the dozens flying past so quick it's hard to catch them all the first time.

The second half of south park s20 got a bit stale, I enjoyed the first half though.

I don't think I've ever cringed as much as I did during that pissing scene.

Haha i found that scene hilarious but it did sort of drag on apparently they had an idea with hilary and had to change it after trump won so could have hurt the show
