Ther owners look like they've been the victims of some seriously over hyped players / lied to / robbed. agents that sold them shit players.
Owners obviously have no clue about football. Don't care how u look at it Domenech is still shit

Big protests before the game by fans to kick Lim out (the owner). Good luck to that! Also was a non-attendance protest in that game ... the whole upper tier of the stadium was pretty much empty from what I've read and seen.

Hopefully the whole experience works for Ryan ... don't think he's ever played for a team that has struggled so much (out of the relegation zone on goal difference alone) for so long, and gone through so many coaches. It would all be a new experience for Ryan (and having to fight for his position). Let's hope it makes him stronger.

Kind of a pity, with Delph, Sane and Gundogan all with injuries and Fernandinho getting three red cards out of his last six games, right now would be just about his best shot at getting minutes in a Man City midfield.

Some of that footage of Mooy is pretty impressive. Deft little passes, beating players with ease and great hustle. He might get a pre-season with City next season to prove himself, otherwise I can see him either being sold or loaned out to another EPL team next season.

Reports are linking him with Bristol City and CSL. I feel sick. Why the hell are our players all going to China? Sure some good coaches are now there and some decent players but the culture and sharpness isn't there.

The big names there have their head in the clouds and know they could run back to Europe whenever they like. An Australian in China definitely appears to be one who couldn't really hack it in Europe and returning could be very tough.

In another thread MV Jono listed all the wages paid to Aussie players.

I think most of the highest paid were playing in China. Sainsbury was top of the list.

Apart from Cahill, no other HAL player made the big earners for something like 25 players! After seeing the salaries on offer one cannot blame players for going to China. The money on offer in China is very, very lucrative.

Sainsbury is on $5M odd in China ... he would of been on less than $300K at PEC. How many of you would turn down a job that offers to pay you over 10 times your current pay?

The club has agreed bro sell their attacking mid Rusnak to the Real Salt Lake, they are just waiting for player to agree terms. I saw a couple of fans suggesting Hrustic to be the one promoted to the first team. Hopefully he is able to impress enough that they don't feel too much pressure to bring in someone new.

It depends on the job and what your goals are. To say that money is the be all and end all is dumb.

It might not be the be-all, but it probably is the end-all.

$5 million in a year means the rest of his and his family's life is, barring mismanagement, taken care of. It means a level of freedom and independence, post-playing days, which would be have to be weighed up against the purely sporting motives of wanting to play at the highest level

That kind of security is impossible to value.

Agree.

Out of curiosity, why?

He's young, he's had a few off the bench appearances, a few starts in the league and starts in most cup games.

Give him time - he isn't that good yet. I think people overrate him based on what we've seen against average Asian teams. He can cross a ball, has buckets of pace but still has a hell of a lot of improvement yet. He's got good footballers around him, in particular some handy full backs.

What goals do you mean? He should play in a smaller European league at 10% of his current wage to try push through to a "big" league for what?

China puts him in a stronger league than Australia, in a much closer region for flying home to australia for WCQ and playing against some of the best in the world.

Just because fans have Europe as the holy grail doesnt mean do. 99% of the population would take a ten times pay increase to move to China.

the situation @ Valencia is probably the worst in football. only strength they have is GK position and ur 3rd in the pecking order while the team loses every week.
Must be awkward

Hope for his sake that they don't go down. Would hate to see him move only to be back in League 1.
It does seem a strange move, must be better money on offer or perhaps he just wanted a change of scenery.

Bristol have made some good signings. Hegeler Wright and someone else I've forgotten. Hopefully they end up like Huddersfield. The slight worry is they have a well established CB pairing according to the transfer reports.

I think man for man the A-league is stronger. The quality of imports in China does not negate just how bad the average Chinese player is

Yeah Seems like a backward step , 205 games at PNE and he captained that side on occasion seems strange they would let him go also strange he would choose to go to a team in a relegation fight in the same league .. At 24 he needed this move to really be the "next step" . Like a lower EPL club (that apparently he was linked to) or else go for the China money

Yep. Bristol are above relegation zone by a couple in the Championship (phew).
Think I read in twitter status fan saying good luck in League One - presumed he was going down a league. bit cheeky

So, Cameron Burgess was recalled by Fulham, from Oldham who are bottom of League One at the moment, and, not long after was loaned to Bury, who are one point off the relegation zone. Interesting stuff there.

Interesting. Was it a recall, or simply the end of a half season loan deal?

Either way, it's all good as long as he's getting minutes and has the faith of his signed club, which seems to be the case.
