The difference being that the fans want atmosphere, diversity and unity whereas the FFA would prefer to kill off all three.

There are some negative nellies in here. As a logo redesign I think it looks brilliant.

Of course it doesn't fix everything else wrong with the league, it's a damn logo.

Wow a lot of hate for what seems like mainly issues with the FFA outside of the league brand re-design itself.

Fluid colours is a great idea. The MLS did it to great success and it will ultimately come down to how they represent the new logo on the club kits to how successful it will be for the A-League. The million dollar question will be, does this represent a shift of position to the sleave or just a change on the front of the kits? I personally can see it working really well on the sleave but onfront it will look too bulky. I hope they received such advice in their research, and have taken that on board.

As for the logo itself. It works well and translates well for the fluid colour idea. It is no worse than what we had before with added advantages now so all in all it is a positive change.

You can argue about priorities and importance all you want but this is just a small change that seems to be an improvement on what we had before.

Sky blue and dark blue logo for the Derby! Should've replaced the dark blue with red FFS! It'd complement the City logo nicely too!

Anyone else think it is strange to release this mid season? Seems like something to do in the offseason to maintain interest and build excitement for the new season.

Personally i think its a big step better than what we had.

Timing of the release is a bit shit but im hearing that they couldnt wait until the off season for the launch due to manufacturing issues and timing with refards to getting them done for the new shirts. Dubious perhaps but whatver no big deal.

If you look under FFA tweets and fb posts i swear they are bots, staff. Its the same type of crap spewed by gallop. 

that logo is shite. They've made up for the shite LogoCreator graphic by making the A underneath stick out more.

The emblem needs a tonne more artist thought, i don't like it's incorporation of trying to make the A out of 3 waves. It just don't work, there;s nothing 'A' recognisable in those waves lol

& applying it to every teams colours & then making it identical on all leagues. ffs to suggest this crap will be the A-League logo is pitiful

Look at the EPL rebrand for a measuring stick.

To help deflect from the fact that expansion is all hot air. Unfortunately the outcome is so underwhelming that it, again, highlights how inept the FFA are in the basics of doing their job.

Of course, with consultants fees, design teams and the multitude of lunches, conferences and think tanks which have been attended this has cost us all a motza.
