Oh man I feel you. Last time I played operations mode we lost 3 battalions trying to hold the last 3 objectives. I would try to defend one of them all by myself. 

I don't have any Battlefield PS4 friends. Never been able to experience squad gameplay :(

I hate most shooters, you just run around corners and hope you start shooting first. 

The battlefield franchise is different. You take and defend objectives by working together, eg: trying to outflank opponents, using vehicles, support class providing suppressing fire etc. Its not about how many kills you get. 

Agree that there are many, many shooters that don't require teamwork to succeed, glad to hear BF1 relies on it. It's why I love TF2 as well, it's hardly uncommon for the players with the highest KDR'S to lose, gotta focus on the objective first and foremost.

My bitching comes from the fact you rely a lot on teamwork and having useless teammates. The game is fantastic.

Found my PS2 along with an original copy of San Andreas in my old bedroom at my parents house while I'm down for Christmas, aww yeah. Still the best GTA in my opinion. 

disagree the best for me is Vice city and there is only one reason i disagree with you because in every other way its the better game but i hated having to defend your territory, i like how the gang thing worked in vice city as you buy businesses and they turn up its a huge pain for me having to travel half way across the map just to protect your territory but that is the only issue i have with it

Finally was able to snag a Friday the 13th Beta Code, going to play through to the morning before the beta ends. 

Yeah that's a fair point, it's a problem I forgot about admittedly because I have 100% of all the gang territory on my main save and just use it to screw around with cheats and side missions. I did love Vice City as well though with the great soundtrack and neon colours

that is the only issue i had with the entire game if i was not so lazy i would have loved it :P for me GTA in my personal opinion has not focused on gangs enough the past 2 games i just kinda expect street gangs and it hasnt happened the past 2

Traded in my xbox 360, xbox one 500gb, xbox one s and ps4 for a ps4 pro and vr kit on the weekend. Since most xbox exclusives come out on Pc now, I just never really use the Xbox one any more.

Just starting playing Battlefield 1 and been playing multiplayer for the most part. Love playing as a medic but just wish people would wait a little before re spawning to give me time to heal them. Sometimes I will run out courageously in fire to recover them like literally after they die, only for them to re spawn straight away which in turns kills me since i am out in the open.

I still think there is a market for face to face party games, but if anything that market has gone to tablets and smartphones. When I saw the Switch ad with people playing  console-quality games anywhere, it reminded me of what the Wii used to be so good at, but no console has replicated since. I used to love inviting my friends over to play N64 and Wii games. 

I don't think there is room in the market for three consoles that do exactly the same thing. Nintendo thinks so too, and the evidence backs it up. The Wii won its console generation and is the third best selling home console ever, behind the PS2 and (very narrowly) the PS1. They sold 100 million consoles and a billion pieces of software.

Apparently that was just an underpowered party console with a gimmick, but people forget it also had some great first party games on it - two Zelda, two Mario and two Metroid games on it for starters. It satisfied Nintendo's hardcore gamer fanbase but also brought in casual gamers. In other words, the magic pudding. 

People are bitching about the Switch lineup, but if you look forward it's going to get:
- Zelda Breath of the Wild on day 1,
- Mariokart in April,
Splatoon 2 in July,
- a new Super Mario sandbox game in 10 months,
Two Fire emblem games and Xenoblade next year. Plus Skyrim portable will drop at some point. Plus a couple of party games like 12 Switch and Arms. That's already a better lineup than the WiiU had in it's entire lifespan. 

Is it going to replace my PS4? No. But I'm buying a Switch because it does something different.

the new mass effect looks like fun and i dont care if this makes me look basic but i really wish they would keep the paragon/renegade system purely because ever since KOTOR i have been a huge fan of being as evil as possible, ah well i am sure i can still be a dick in the game i just want recognition that i am a dick(in the game i get plenty of recognition that i am a dick in real life)

Breath of the Wild looking to be every bit the masterpiece it should be.

Not sure if I'm willing to pay $469 + plus the game just to play it though :laugh:, Other than that and the new Mario Kart coming out later this month, there is not much else that I would play.

Yeah they're working on the idea of one big game every month, rather than 3 or so at launch and then fuck all for months after.

This post made me look up the game. This coupled with the fact I have been obsessed with ancient history lately all led to my hangover purchase saturday morning of Civ 5 complete edition. I have never played any of the series and I haven't played a strategy type game since those Age of Empires (2 i think?) that came with cereal boxes when we were kids!!!! aha

I have not stopped playing it every second I haven't been at work or out all week. It's becoming a sickness! I am completely addicted. My partner is away most of the weekend and I fear I will be just lying in a pile of filth in my underwear not having moved when she gets back Sunday....
