As a code our problem is not attracting big one off crowds (we've proved we can do that) its attendances outside of that.

Yeh, there are two figures floating around, exactly 500 difference, probably have to run with the official FFA figure.

Some reports are saying the Central Coast v Adelaide game had a crowd of 1378. I've also seen some with 5072 like you've shown Joffa. How is it even possible to have such a huge gap?
While watching the game I must admit it looked closer to 1378 to me.

I think we'll only get 40k for this game.

The A-League game got 1378 but FFA used the attendance for the womens game after which is dodgy :laugh:

Absolute no chance of hitting 60k in the derby. For one there has been very little chat around this match within in the media, and if they were forecasting 60k you would have heard it by now.

Will be 40k tops imo, and even that will be pushing it. The sooner WSW play at their new stadium the better. The fact that both Sydney teams managed to get less than 18k combined during the last round of home games is concerning to say the least. 

I agree there's no chance of 60k. From what I've read they say they are expecting 50k which makes me think it'll be closer to 40k.
I wouldn't be too worried about last week's crowds. You guys played on a Thursday night against Wellington which was extremely stupid of the FFA, while we played on a boiling hot day where most people would rather be at the beach, or at home in the aircon over watching us play in an AFL Stadium with only 4 wins all season. 
WSW crowds will dip however we'll still end up with a higher average thanks to the ANZ derby attendances whole Sydney FC crowds will pick up again when played on weekends. 

Two of our last 4 home games are on.Friday night which is never a big draw card for us.

The league as a whole.is too stale. Too few teams playing too many games. It's just silly.

Me thinks we have sold our soul a little too much to Fox who like scheduling these games this way. Don't get me wrong it's great to get the money, but at what cost?

It has changed, because that was the figure I got from the HAL website. Checked today and it has been cut by a nice round number of 500. Goes to show how much bs we are being fed with these numbers.
