That is true, it is crude and inappropriate no matter the motivation.

The FFA are the ones being homophobic in thinking this banner is disgusting. 
It's fine for FFA to say the banner was inappropriate considering the kids around but to say it's homophobic I think the FFA should take a good look at themselves.

Is saying 'suck my cock' homophobic? It's an offensive, childish metaphor intended to convey that the speaker has power over the recipient, but I'm not sure it's homophobic.

Aside from this being totally inappropriate at the A-League, I think the issue is more that it is insinuating domination and superiority through a sexual act, rather than the RBB addressing the genders and attraction of those involved.

But overall, incredibly juvenile and hope they lose all 3 points : )
