played half a season last year after not playing competitively since under 12s. left because of an injury and uh...not getting along very well with some of the people. so i wont name the club.
i'm half heartedly looking for an indoor team to play for and i've just recently been asked to play for my company's team next year :)

it was also only 2 years ago. I saw a few Box Hill U13 & U14 games last season. Poor side. I heard that a lot of good players had left the previous season. If you're any good I'd seriously consider joining the exodus and getting yourself into a better club. I don't mean any insult to Box Hill in saying that - simply that there's no point in a good kid playing for a bad side, or a side outside the Super Leagues. The Super Leagues is where we look for the next generation of players. i know, im looking to go, trialling at a few clubs. All our good players have gone already.

What happened to Box Hill? Same happened to Knox. They both just fell to shit and I dont think they have any super league teams anymore.

I know Knox used to be good. 4 years ago Box Hill were possibly the best club. But everyone leaves at about under 14s because there are no seniors. And every player wants to play seniors

Knox U14s (U15 next season, obviously) are back in the Supers, they absolutely pi**ed on the competition this year (won all but 1, drew the other, scored 107 in 18 games!). I watched a few games but it was impossible to rate the players accurately because they were (as a team) that much better than the opposition).

Usually, in any competition, if you blitz the league to get promotion you do alright the following season, but if you struggle to promotion you struggle the following season. Knox were so much better than the rest of the league this year that it was almost indecent. Previous season it was them and another side a mile clear and they lost out by about a point or something.

Hard to judge due to the opposition. A few of them are quality though. Their left-back (Aaron, the captain) is top draw though. I'm looking forward to seeing him next year against better opposition.

I pretty much cover the eastern suburbs throughout the regular youth season (have let things slip during the summer football thing, not sure why, just lazy I think), have a press pass for Victory games so I'm usually at the Dome as well. Go to a few South Melbourne games in the Vic State League as well. And yes, that's me in the avatar. That's a couple of years back though, I've stacked on about 12 kilos since then!
