To answer your question, it was Jim Keyes from The Masters Apprentices who wrote Victory the Brave. He died about a year ago.
Hopefully we'll fully replace it with Stand By Me soon, instead of 90% replaced as it is now.

not my club. we are melbourne city. move on buddy. at least they spent money on an indie band. they probably do bath, bed and beyond ads. not the rsl ww1 marching band that got reeled out of palliative care for some victory song writing. either way i can say that melbournes shit club songs are all round less shit than SFC's barnsey diarrhoea.

The wall paper that Sydney have been promoting celebrating winning the premiership shows the tiled office ceiling complete with square air diffusers and fire alarm in the reflection of the plate. http://images.performgroup.com/di/library/Sydney_FC/c3/c8/800x600_p82m8b7sjjwp1gsdgzjhgel1s.jpg?t=404662603&w=800&h=600&quality=100

Whats wrong with the how Tim Cahill was bought Tim Cahill is an absolute Socceroo and Everton legend. Not one other single Socceroo has contributed more to the natinal team than Cahill

Liverpool tour to Sydney LEGENDS in Sydney, Muscat’s ambition, Elrich on the mend and more. It’s all in Thursday’s A-League Media Watch. COULD STEVIE G BE JOINED IN SYDNEY? There are a few wondering how Liverpool will field a fit XI to play Sydney FC just days after their final Premier League game of the season. Well, whispers out of the UK suggest Steven Gerrard won’t be the only legend taking the field again for his beloved Reds when they face Sydney FC at ANZ Stadium. In an article about Steven Gerrard’s appointment as the club’s under-18s coach, The Daily Mail reported: “It is expected that he will be joined on the trip down under by Jamie Carragher and Steve McManaman”. While Reds fans may be delighted to have club icons on our shores, how will fans feel who have paid up to $400 for tickets to see Liverpool’s first XI feature names from yesteryear? http://www.foxsports.com.au/football/a-league/liverpool-tour-to-sydney-kevin-muscats-socceroos-ambition-tarek-elrich-surgery-media-watch/news-story/36dfa04fb1a9432a82d471317833976f
