Adama Traore didn't play in a friendly today as Basel has told him he is not in their plans. They have a 19 and a 20 year old left back and have said they will be the starters. FC Basel is re-emerging and will increasingly focus on young players. Marc Janko had to leave the club and the next change due to this reorientation isAdama TraoréAdama Traoré . He did not play against Rosenheim and has little more room in the squad. Raoul Petretta and Blas Riveros are Rapahel Wicky's players for the left defense. The sporting management tries to put Traoré at another club. «Adama has listings from other clubs. Out of respect for that, we have not asked him today to lead these negotiations, "says Wicky. Discussions take place with three clubs: from the first and second French league and the English Championship. https://tageswoche.ch/sport/premiere-fuer-van-wolfswinkel-und-adama-traore-auf-dem-absprung/

I can't see it posted but Lachlan Barr has moved from 7th tier German side Inter Berlin to League 1 side Bradford city. Since it is a strange move I looked into it and it seems one of Inter Berlin coaches got a job at Bradford and convinced them to take him on trial. He performed well and signed a professional contract. EDIT: Barr's contract is supposedly only 6 months and he is expected to be playing with their development squad going off the Bradford forums. Bild article I found the info on his coach Berlin amateur kicker also to Bradford
Also for Lachlan Barr (22), the desire of professional football has now come true.Last season, he still played for FC Internationale in Schöneberg. His opponents: Fortuna Biesdorf, Wittenauer SC Concordia 1910 or the BSC Rehberge. In the new season are now for example the FC Portsmouth or the Blackburn Rovers.
Barr wanted to return to Australia in the summer. Now he will regularly appear at the Coral Windows Stadium in front of 25,000 spectators. Ex-Inter coach Lars Mrosko, who works as a consultant for Bradford, made the contact.A stroke of luck for the 1.89-meter-long Barr, which is physically robust and head-ball-strong.Gerd Thomas, the first president of Internationale, said: "He originally worked in an ice cream parlor and a friend brought him to training." The Australian played in the last season with all his 24 assignments from the start and helped Internationale to a place in the midfield (7th place, 47 points). http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/england/kreisliga-kicker-stuermt-zu-bradford-city-52489968.bild.html

An update on Curtis Good that was buried somewhere in the news last week. Do you think a manager like this says these kind of things to water down some of the contract negotiations - to try and cut some costs? It often reads to me like an attempt to influence the level of perceived demand for the product. I imagine the money that curtis good would be on at newcastle is probably worth a handful of player salaries in league two's notts county squad. https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/county-downplay-good-move-467772

+xSainsbury is back in China and Hong has left. They've got 5 foreigners in the squad. you would expect any decent coach to call in all his big money players to have a look before cutting anyone. it is his club. the inter loan ended 2 weeks ago. there is still hope that he will leave.

EXCLUSIVE: FFA probe De Silva Roma deal De Silva, 20, signed a three-year deal with Central Coast Mariners earlier this month after he left Perth Glory following an 18-month loan spell with Roda JC in the Eredivisie. But his contract details are mired in secrecy which could reveal he is at the centre of either an outlawed co-ownership or third party ownership agreement with Italian giants, Roma. And until the controversy is cleared up, FFA can't register him with the Mariners for next season. https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/exclusive-ffa-probe-de-silva-roma-deal-468629

Melbourne City have signed talented youngsters Connor Metcalfe, John Roberts and Ramy Najjarine to the Hyundai A-League club's impressive list of scholarship players. Now that Sneijder has been released, there's no chance Galatasaray would make an offer for Troisi, is there?

That'd be awesome if he got a starting spot. Big benches are a concern.
