Not the best performance but we off to a good start, but they have alot of work to do. 

I thought Arzani and in the second half McGree were our best players, Scott and Blackwood offered us nothing in attack.

The inability to cross, shoot and even the final ball espeically the first two was a cause of concern.

Arzani, McGree and Kamau were our best players. McGree seems so much more composed than most of the others on the team. He got a well taken goal, and was generally really good with his passing. He was like a faster, slightly more forward moving version of Aaron Mooy.

Hard to judge a performance when opposition are so shit and just park the bus. Got the win which is the main thing. Arzani Mcgree and Brucey the stand outs. Will be good to see these boys playing the better sides. 

Will be interesting to see what camps during Fifa windows (Aug/sept, oct and Nov)  that the FFA organise for January tournament in China. Maybe friendlys of overseas based players in Europe or in oz with A League clubs cracking the shits.

I thought both Baccus and Cowburn looked pretty good as well, albeit with hardly any defending to be done. Arzani looked good on the ball, but his crossing certainly needs to be worked on.

To be fair it's probably a factor of lack of football and fitness, a lot of these guys hardly play games, in fact, many of them havent played a game since April or even early May.

It doesnt help them in that regard as it seems to me that lack in sharpness to make more efficent decisions and execute it.

Our football calendar is a complete mess, we have the NPL whom most dont even play it as they classifed as senior a-league players and then there is the NYL where it starts in November and only goes for 8 games and its not wonder our youth dont develop properly in Oz.

I listened to Ron Smith in a fox football podcast that was hosted by Adam Peacock and he made some clever points, one was our players dont play enough football at all levels espeically around 16-20 whom either they play in the state comp but also play a longer youth league. 

Its maybe a reason why our youth have under performed as there dont play enough football compared to our peers from overseas especially Asia.

Would like to find a stat on how many games our lads play compare to say countries like Japan, South Korea the middle east etc, i think we have the talent but they so often get under developed
