older news but Tom Beadling has returned to Sunderland after a loan spell at Bury. He is in the frame for first team football with Sunderlands relegation to the championship. 21 year old defender. Has anyone had much new about his allegiances to Australia? He has been involved in Aus youth teams but I think the alternative is England (he was born there) and he might be low in the pecking order to get a look into the English set up. http://www.90min.com/posts/5261229-four-sunderland-youngsters-who-could-break-into-the-first-team

Interested to see if anyone has found anything on ikonomidis. I see he is still at Lazio but I would give him next to no chance of him making the first team there.
Ange has shown he will pick a young player for every camp so I think it's between him, hrustic and mabil and if he rides the pine all year he will most certainly lose that spot.

Sounds like the Adam Federici move to Nottingham has stalled after a failed medical. http://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/nottingham-forest-still-hope-add-318932

it looks like we are starting to draw to a close with the remaining Australian transfers abroad. Although things get a little bit silly in the last few weeks. The most likely moves:Mark Birighitti is virtually clubless and a move to Barnsley looks on the cards Curtis Good is also virtually clubless and there are no new rumours after failing at his Zwolle trial. Oliver Pain is Clubless. There are no new rumours after his failed Grimsby trial. Tomi Juric has some solid rumours still going for a Bundesliga move - Wolfsburg, Frieburg, and Stuttgart are the latest links. Adam Federici has missed out on a Nottingham Forrest move - supposedly failing the medical because of his ongoing injury concerns from last season. Jackson Irvine and Massimo Luongos whispers have died down. They both look like an integral part of their teams early campaigns. There could be late signings here but I suspect the NT camp will interfere with many plans. Staying put:Osama Maliks move to Japan never came off. He has been a regular in Melbourne's pre season. Trent Sainsbury has been recalled to China to lose another season on the bench. rumours are saying that a january return to serie A is highly possible. Harrison Sawyer has returned to Ipswich Hosine Bility's news was fake Chris Ikonomidis looks settled back into Lazio - he might make a push for first team action this year. you would think a move here would be pretty vital. Harry Ascroft has returned to the Central Coast. Apo Giannou is back in China wasting his career. Hopefully he gets paid. Andrew Nabbout looks like a big part of Newcastle's plans after trialling in the UAE. All links to news and rumours are in the O.P.

Nabbout never trialled in the UAE
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Noticed Gianou not in the squad as his team used only 2 foreign players so a move may be soon on. Jason davidson has been training with the reserves so you would think he would be keen to move hopefully to Holland where he seems to play a lot better than the championship

He has one year left on his Hudders contract http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11096/10983173/which-premier-league-stars-are-out-of-contract-next-summerApo Giannou was on the verge of a panathinaikos move recently. all the info i find on this is buried in greek. we need a greek forumite to have a dig to find anything.

Another attacker on the Dens radar appears to be Australian-Cypriot James Demetriou, who could join up for a trial. The 22-year-old was born in Sydney of Cypriot parents and, as a youngster, trained with Hyundai A League outfit West Sydney Wanderers and turned out for Sydney Olympic in the regional leagues Down Under.

fresh chatter about Jackson Irvine's possible move. Birmingham and Derby on the cards again. Irvine watering it down again. https://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2017/08/18/irvine-douses-transfer-talk-burton-battle-hold-socceroos-star

Curtis Good - who has struggled to find a new home - has been called up from the U23's to train with the first team - and given a squad number! mightn't amount to much but a shot at the newcastle first team would be a pretty decent outcome for him. http://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/away-from-the-premier-league-spotlight-a-clutch-of-unwanted-newcastle-players-train-in-the-shadows-1-8709566

Joshua Meaker Has moved from a lower league Spanish club (4th tier I think) to Ontinyent CF in the third tier. If anyone is paying attention his father Rodney took 80% ownership of Ontinyent CF recently. Transfer on their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/OntinyentCF/Article which mentions Rodney has a son named Josh: https://aligaweb.wordpress.com/tag/rodney-meaker/

Apparently they are doing what was rumoured to be happening to Charlton; an Aussie group/affiliate bought the club with the intentions of taking it through the divisions and bringing in Australian talent. I feel father/son combos never really work out too well. It's risky. At one stage the club were looking at getting Gavin de Niese as well, before he transferred to Portugal second division.
