Leckie has really picked up since around match 2016. He got a goal against Greece then Iraq, UAE and Thailand. It may not seem like much but it's a lot more than where he was before that.

He's about a 10 goal haul a season kinda guy, really. . Not sure what effect the transition to the Bundesliga had on him personally. Ingolstadt as a team found it hard.
Perhaps this is him maturing a bit. Scoring regularly for Australia too.
The real test will be seeing him score regularly against better teams. Hope we see that , cos if he can manufacture that in Germany, I'm pretty positive that will translate to a heap of confidence for him. next step I think.

Ange seems to think he can't play at NT level. That's been his reason I think, whether it's form, playing or what not. Pretty shitty reason imo

He has made squads before but he was hardly playing at club level for the second half of last season so it is reasonable that he has not been picked in recent squads.

i missed the match but i was impressed with dougalls defence last game. Thought it was the best defensive performance by an osaussie since jedi but more comfortable on the ball
