That's a shame about Ansell, looks like he was just getting into a good thing. Hope he's back on soon.

Did we mention that Meredith played 90 in a win over Leeds?
He's played all but 27 minutes of Millwall's Championship campaign at LB thus far.

Leckie, kruse, Mabil, hrustic, Goodwin all playing regularly and well. All very good wing options for the national side. All of a sudden we look pretty good up front. Just need a genuine back up for juric and I'm happy with that

mooy was a standout for about the first 35. then he got pretty sloppy with his passing. gave away a possession with silly pass that ended up with a penalty against them. he settled again after that. shame hudders couldnt close the deal. also, mooy just seems to have acres of space all the time - despite the years of naysayers claiming he was too slow to step up from even the A-League.

A shame about Ansell why does it always happen to our players? Season length, lack of sports science? who knows

In and out of games.

Surely space and time on the ball, not looking rushed, is more about being an intelligent composed footballer and being able to read the game, to be able to protect the ball and move away from instead of into danger, rather than pure pace across the ground. As a deep lying midfielder pace is more likely to be an issue defensively as he would be unable to chase players, the goal Germany scored at the Confederations Cup where Mooy was unable to follow due to lack of pace is an example.

Chris Lowe at LB will surely be a risk next game. That tackle looked so dodgey. Really thought Vagner may bring the Fulham recruit in Scott Malone is it ? that guy had a blistering season from LB. Maybe he's pressuring Lowe to fuck up also which u have to laugh about but surely could happen when you have that kinda depth in a position ...

Holland has been injured. Full match for Chapman, nothing for Jovanovic.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
