+x+xNot sure if there's another thread for it but who else is watching the CONMEBOL qualifiers? Messi is carrying Argentina kicking and screaming into the world cup at the moment, and James looks like he's doing the same for Colombia. New Zealand's playoff opponent has changed four times in the last ten minutes :P Kiwis will be hoping Peru can equalise. It would send them to 5th and Chile out. Was just looking at that scenario ... wow going to be a nail biter

+xUS team getting as much love as we give the Socceroos (on Twitter anyway) they actually did sack their coach (klinnsmen) you could argue that it gave the team a short term boost....I'm not so sure Perhaps he was losing his mojo but Klinnsman is a pretty high quality coach. He is no Osiek. Problems with the usa team might have been to do with the personell rather than the coach

As it stands:
CONMEBOL: Brazil, Uruguay, Colombia, Argentina qualify automatically. Chile vs New Zealand in the playoffs.
CONCACAF: Mexico and Costa Rica through already, USA will join them, Panama to play us in the playoffs, Honduras eliminated.
