+xLuongo is the only Aussie playing in the Championship tonight by the looks of things. Definitely no Irvine in the squad for Hull. We really cop it the most with the travel. Coaches use it against us for 3 weeks after the break. So annoying

Doesn't look like there's going to be much action for the Aussies tonight...anyone know if there's anyone we've missed? I was really hoping there'd be something in particular to watch tonight or a collection of games with Aussies...doesn't look to be the case at the moment. Doesn't help that the big game tonight on SBS - Liverpool vs Man Utd - has one team playing for the 0-0 draw, which has killed any excitement in the match. The options on Foxtel here are Bayern vs Freiburg, Getafe vs Real Madrid, and Leeds vs Reading. Not the best choice of games...

Davidson not in the squad. Hopefully he's just getting up to speed and it's not a "Oops, we've signed a dud" situation.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+x+x+xKruse got an early assist. Second assist for Kruse. Assists, I don't care about them. How many times has he passed to the opposition or hit a bad cross or been caught offside. That is all that matters, never passing to the opposition, never hitting bad cross and certainly never being caught offside. As long as a player doesn't do any of those things it does not matter if they never have an assist. I hope he keeps it up. "assists, i dont care about them". SMFH!! If i were a coach i'd much prefer a player that fucks up a lot but provides magical moments that win games that a player that makes few errors but takes no risks. In football it's these moments that make the difference with winning a match. moments that Kruse provides a lot of

Mooy got really unlucky for Swansea's second goal. Tracked back well, got a foot in front of the attacker and made a clean tackle, the ball deflected through his defence perfectly (they were a bit slow to react too) for another Swansea attacker. Not really his fault, but terrible luck there.

According to Wiki Mehbratu has scored 13 in 27 for Bolslav, including a double in the europa league. Any reason why he's not worth a look at for the NT?

Any idea whats wrong with Nathan Burns. Noticed hes never been in a matchday squad since moving to Sanfrecce and his last game was coming off the bench on the 89th minute on 10 May 2017. Does he have a long term injury I missed?

The stats I find has at 15 goals and 1 assist in 38 games. This includes 9 in 20 as a striker, 2 in 9 as a secondary striker, 3 in 6, plus the assist, as a right winger and 1 in 3 position unknown after coming off the bench. He has 2 goals in his last two games.
Mehbratu is a right footed Rukavytsya? Tall, fairly strong, very quick, can play on the wing or striker, playing in a lesser league and scoring goals. So if Juric and Cahill are the first two strikers and we seem to always pick three, which one, or Maclaren or even Taggart.
Interestingly in this game he played against another Aussie, Alexander Susnjar who is playing every week except for a red card suspension and the coach made him sit on the bench for an extra game. Perhaps he is another who could come under consideration.

I thought Birighitti was solid up until added time when he and the defense started losing their cool then conceded. There was one excellent save in the first half.
