 Good for a laugh. German sky had massive losses last year. A fan paradise TV wise but they spent a bit too much on film and series rights   while losing premier league rights. They've reverted to massive budget cuts noticeably the staff all wear cheap maroon shirts and work in a centralised studio, sending fewer reporters to the match to save on travel costs. 

Netflix and Amazon prime kill them with series while DAZN has so much more for a tenner plus you can cancel any time. Sky lock you in for two years for at least 30€ plus steep administration fees. Germany might not be so fan friendly in 5 years.

All good. Whenever anyone changes their pic I need to check the user name and realise it's the same person. There's about 20 user names I can recall and then lots of random and newbies. Some hang around and others disappear quickly. This thread is an excellent one. It's something of a collective blog for me.

I’ve watched more than half of Ryan’s premier league games so I feel I’m somewhat of a decent judge.
He looks so assured, early on i’d get nervous when the ball would come in but now he seems a lot more confident.

The stadium is just not working for a traditional football club. So many German clubs got new ones from the world cup but generally didn't have to move. Additionally there was nothing wrong with Upton Park while German grounds were shabby with a running track and even without a roof. 

I'm glad I caught a game at Upton Park before it became history. Hopefully they can make it work at their new digs because there's no going back now.

Definitely conscious of Victory's journey between Olympic Park, Docklands and AAMI Park when I reflect on that.
