Ange FFS :(
Can't argue with the fact he's after something new. If he's not into it, move on.

+xAnge FFS :( Can't argue with the fact he's after something new. If he's not into it, move on. I thought 'something new' was going to be winning games at the WC with 3 at the back ... that's what I recall he said

"Sydney FC coach Graham Arnold (a former Socceroos caretaker boss) and Melbourne Victory’s Kevin Muscat have been touted as potential new managers for the Socceroos. Arnold, whose Sky Blues team claimed a historic treble by winning the FFA Cup on Tuesday night, would be favourite." Lol no fucking way Musky's name would be anywhere near the NT. -PB

Kruse will be awake all night. Smith too. Haha anyways players like Meredith and a few more definitely might feel a bit more confident now. I'd hate to see a repeat of many veterans quitting after some disagreements etc. Not comparable to Neill etc from last time but Jedinak and Milligan might need to read carefully with the leadership group possibly being changed.

Van Marwijk would be best. He's had his eye on us for more than a year.

+xDon't really care anymore. So all the talk about building a side and a formation that can win games at a WC was just that ...talk. New coach will revert to 4 at the back and the 'experiment' that nearly cost us qualification will be a distant memory. Bye Ange. This so much. 1-4-4-3 here we come bay-beeeee -PB

He think he had it tough with the media, can't wait to see how he will go with a team like rangers, if the rumors are true.

Bailed on brisbane promising a dynasty for Victory
Bailed on Victory for NT after wanting to build a dynasty with the biggest club in Australia
Bailed on NT before World Cup after saying everything was prep for 2018
Lol. This man has always left before he stayed long enough to get the sack. Still a legend but wow. Lol.

The pressure has been so unhealthy for him. I think it's taken a massive toll on his health. It's not like he can't handle pressure but I think this got to a level where needed to cut the cord. I had to do it with a client this year. 8 years of English training and just felt so drained and weighed down by it. Haven't felt healthier for a long time.

+xHas Timmy played his last game for us I wonder. Definitely not. He is still one of the first names you put in the squad. He is still saving us we would not have been going to the world cup if it wasn't for his two goals against Syria, cause no one else looked like they were going to score

Only loses 2 games in 22 qualifying games, gets Australia to the WC with a fairly average squad and people still moan.

Milicic gone too. What about the rest of the excellent staff? I hope little changes in the background. Who knows who'll come in? Only one international break plus a few matches pre WC? Concerned and excited. Every player has been put on notice.

Ffs the last wc we had a new coach who wasnt involved with the players or qualification and now we are doing it again...seriously it is almost a tradition now to shoot ourselves in the foot. Arnold or muscat better not get the job we need a seriously good coach. Can not understand anges call on tjis it is the World Cup the big one the one coaches dream of going to once in their lives and he throws it away

Hopefully the media chases the real story now.
Confirmed Ante is gone as well? Thanks to both of them,

And if you'd changed everything to suit you - even though it made it more difficult for the company to achieve its objectives, and then walked out the door before you'd finished what you'd claimed you were going to do, knowing that the next guy would just change it all back again ....? Do you think you'd get many accolades from the shareholders?

Selfish autistic prick. There is something seriously wrong with that man "psychologically". You can only pull this shit so many times before it wears thin and you lose the goodwill you worked so hard to build up.
Thanks for the memories and thanks for finally being a little pragmatic in the end to get us qualified before you left after using us as your laboratory. I wonder if that's what killed his spirit in the end, having to play 5 defenders to get these boys to win a game that mattered.

Simon in to replace Cahill
