Disney to buy Fox film, TV businesses for $68 billion in stock
Fox assets that will be sold to Disney, include the Twentieth Century Fox movie and cable networks. Fox currently owns the rights to the X-Men and the Fantastic Four and has mixed success with both. When they had marvel round in the NRL and changed certain teams jerseys with marvel characters. Every kid was hounding there dad for one. They sold out in seconds. They actually had to make way more than they thought and as soon as those ones became available they sold out again. It worked with League but for some reason the fans reacted negatively to Star Wars round. This could work.

It's a very tacty gimmick, but after reading what is actually been done, character appearances and big screen content, it's not as bad as I thought. not kits will change, not even the match ball which I thought was definitely gunna be changed. It will just be posters n advertisement at games for a movie. If it brings in some money and even slightly boosts the a league into advertisement space, I'm fine with it.
So far all I have seen are Star Wars themed banners around Instagram posts.

Of course I've my costume sorted, but Where and When should I be looking to find the FFA's promotion of the Star Wars round.
Since they've joined forces to tie in this arrangement, I assume they would be throwing a much bigger advertising budget at it this week.

+x+xI'm one for the timing of this. I don't care that we have a Star Wars round. Try anything to generate interest. But since I have just been reading about the Marrone outcome (not trying to bring that discussion in here), wondering yet again how Simon's violent behaviour towards another player in the same incident was not an immediate red card, disliking the handball VAR fiasco, loathing the increase in uncarded professional fouls, and really disliking the way the world and our sport are heading - I find that a Star Wars round just highlights how much the focus of our governing body is off. Feels like selling fairy floss at a funeral. Didn't he recieve a red card too? To be honest I would be hard pressed not to deck someone who spat at me. Reckon he showed restraint. I mean the week before when he violently leaped to the defence of a turd in the Marrone incident - obviously did not cop a red that week or he wouldn't have been spat on. No comment on Simon from me on the spitting one - he clearly gives a shirt front nose punch and had to go, but I agree with your sentiment on spitting.
