Be interested to see who the next coach is and what he does with: Oar, Jones, Gol Gol, Mabil and Ansell with them all playing regularly in decent leagues...

+xMabil 90 minutes again. Playing regularly in a very good league. He’s ready IMO How many games has he played? I would say players like him need at least a season before they come in contention for the Socceroos, unless they are playing in one of the big four. Even Jason Davidson scored game time in the Primeira Liga, and he's jack!

We have called up players in the last few years with fuck all game time or exposure. But yeah, I feel the Portugese league is quiet poor in the second half of the table. Portugal is ranked 7th in Europe as a league, I would say the bottom sides in the Primeira are at the same level as bottom to mid table sides in the Championship but they do face far superior sides in the top 5 or 6.

I'm not sure I agree. I was super suprised at even the low teams in portrugal. Its a noticeable step up from the other 2nd teir leagues (buli 2, ecl, eredivisie, juliper....)

Inman's pretty quiet from what I've seen in this FA cup match. Standard of play is poor.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Yeah but 8 games out of the year you play top quality opposition(braga, porto, sporting & benfica).... you don't get that in the other leagues...

And still nothing on George Mells - last we heard he was trialling with a Dutch Club in July: https://www.fourfourtwo.com.au/news/mells-on-trial-with-dutch-club-467564https://twitter.com/GeorgeMellsJnr/status/886515815134244865https://www.transfermarkt.com/george-mells/profil/spieler/337278 - He's been a free agent for a long time now. Maybe these two lads are hoping for moves during the coming January Transfer window?

Ikon is 22 years old and has 32 games in Serie B and Denmark to his name. He’s about the same age as Aaron Mooy when he came back to the A-league after 21 games with St Mirren. I think he should come home.

Rogic bench for Anderlecht game. Tiebreakers - Points in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Goal difference in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
- Away goals scored in head-to-head matches among tied teams;
Celtic won 3:0 away. If Anderlecht win by 3 goals scoring 4 or more, they're through.

Ikon is at a make or break point in his career for mine if he wants to realise his potential. I cant understand why he chose to remain on the bench (if he's lucky) rather than go out on loan again and try to establish himself and potentially gain a move

It seems fair to say that last season in Denmark Ikon didn’t set the world on fire, which is probably why he’s struggling to get a loan.

Hey Guys, Back with Noah's first Winter indoor training session with Wehen Wiesbaden U9 training group. Noah's Grandfather passed away last Thursday the 30th of November.Noah took it hard.I thought it best to keep him training and keep his mind off it.Funeral this Friday the 8th of December. In regards to the vid the boys have entered a training hall.There's been a lot of snow fall in the area over the past days but it has mostly melted today but we have snow forecast for the next 4 days. A new kid joined today and he had some really good ball skills for an 8 year old.Four of the kids were sick with flu,colds.The usual when it gets this cold. Anyway the vid is 13min long so can I suggest a cup of coffee before you start. Cheers https://youtu.be/wKdv_7P6eFkHe was also in a Tournament for his local club SV 1895 Neuhof over the weekend.He pulled off some good saves in goal if you want to watch that too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhaUuHYOH7Q

+xAny word on how Panos Armenakas is tracking? Played 64 minutes this season. I checked his team's games on transfermarkt and in a game where the entire attacking mid 3 were subbed off he wasn't used, despite being on the bench and being capable of playing all those positions. He did have a run of 3 games in a row coming off the bench but has spent the last 4 on the bench with no minutes. His team is also last in the 8-team Belgian second division.
