Let me premise this by saying I want a NSD. Last night was more about the lack depth from victory, then a revelation of talent from GC.

2500 at last nights game and a skin of the teeth escape for MV but nah there's not enough talent in Australia for an NSD. Highlights here. https://www.theffacup.com.au/news/watch-victory-book-their-spot-quarter-finals

Yep ty, it appeared on the 10Play app just before the game started.
A big win for Wollongong and Luke Wilkshire.

+xHow does one watch the FFA Cup tonight? My 10Play app isn’t showing anything at all in its TV Guide section, and when I search for ‘FFA Cup’ it only shows replays of old matches. Its on ten play now. I just cast it to my tv , the stream starts at 6:55pm

4-0 Roar. A hatty for Dehmie, who took his chances really well.

Roar v Lions. Roar still a bit rusty, but some decent play. Hoping Parsons gets at least 30 mins, with the score 2-0 nil

One for the stats nerds.
Isaias made his 21st FFA Cup appearance today which is the most of any player in the competition’s history.

Anyway on our performance today, it’s an improvement on the Floreat game but there’s still plenty of room for improvement. It’s clear we need more friendlies to increase match sharpness.

+x+x+x+xI hope Ben Halloran isn’t our plan A for penalties. Also, how can a goalkeeper on a dry warm day get away with soaking the penalty spot with their drink bottle just before the penalty taker places the ball on the spot? Surely that warrants a yellow. What about dissent by Yengi What about the STA by Oliviera Both warranted yellow cards Yengi did, Bernardo didn’t do anything wrong. Yes he did. Took out the back leg of Adelaide Olympic player running towards goal. That is, according to the laws of the game "Stopping a Promising Attack." Olivriera lucky to get the pen, more of a dive! He sold it well and conned the referee. Adelaide United get away with the win Don’t remember that. The pen was clear as day, Bernardo did very well to draw the foul.

Nevermind Paul01, he hates United and still thinks Wanderers deserved to win the GF in Adelaide all those years ago despite it not being an even mildly controversial game aha I don't hate Adelaide, i hate poor officiating. The woman officiating today failed when it came to making correct decisions in critical moments That goes for any game, be it A-League, EPL or World Cup matches. And the sooner Chris Beath is delisted as a high level match official the better Yes you do and it’s very obvious.

+x+xNot sure how Kitto is a pro football player. The young kid looks promising. Hopefully Yengi has a good season & keeps improving - got all the attributes of a #9 Yengi is very, very exciting. Australia’s best under 23 striker although it’s clear that he’s lacking match sharpness today. Let's hope the "next Viduka" line doesn't come out too early by the pundits. Al Hassan Toure had that label thrown his way back in the early days. Has been downhill for him since. Would be good for some of these exciting prospects to dominate the league for at least a season before the media jizz their pants over them.

Interestingly Olympic’s keeper Lewis Moss used to play in the AFLfor Gold Coast.
