Yeah nah, January signings are often poor. I’d take Fierira to be honest but he’s sydney bound other than that just make sure the current players stay fit which thenew physio can do and wait for the new Football Director to arrive to work on recruiting. We don’t need any more duds, we’ve enough.

Ah yes correct, I was thinking that it was when the FFA were running things he was bought in, Archie actually just put in the word when Farina got caught. Was highlighting regarding the Rehashing comments, that Bakries/Fong/Dobson/Pourre/Cobb/Kingsman haven't got a credit to their names yet.

+xAnd with the Transfer Window just about closed, why oh why has Johnny sat on his behind and done nothing? #AloisiOUT Is it because he is cruising easy in the 6, and on the verge of winning the championship?

Replacement for Craig Moore apparently signed up.
They’re not saying who but they’re quite excited by it

I get it Mr. B, this past week or so has been one of the most frustrating weeks to support Roar especially as we could all see a result like that was coming and really, the numbers slipping off the shirts didn’t really come as a surprise with such shoddy practices going on.
Could it be Broich? I doubt it just because of what he’s doing in Germany and he won’t have his coaching licences yet which will take a couple of years and that seemed to be his priority. but getting Broich back into the club has to be a priority for the club if it’s possible.

@ Burgs
What’s really interesting with Roar is there ability to f’ck things up publicly but when they do something right they keep it quiet.
They’re clearly stuffed up on the medical side this year so clearly they’ve figured it out, moved people on, and when they go hire a well credentialed physio with EPL experience you’d think they’d publish it and let fans know. But no, it gets mentioned on Fox commentary snd supporters have to go digging for the info themselves.
It’s an unbelievable club for stuff like that.

The Roar Supporters Federation (RSF) have released their interim report on the results of their fan survey off the back of the poor performance of the A League team at the Asian Championship Cup game at QSAC last week. Fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the game, which saw numbers peeling from player’s jerseys. RSF, as a voice of the fans, penned an open letter to Brisbane Roar Football Club (BRFC) and the FFA, and also launched a survey to capture the concerns of fans during this time. This interim report highlights the 4 main themes of concerns raised by fans in the survey, including The Club, Management and Operations, Team Performance and Match Day experience. The RSF is calling for meetings with BRFC and the FFA to discuss the results of the survey, and to determine a path forward that will satisfy the supporters they represent. RSF spokesperson Chris McAlister said that the fact that 846 fans took the time to raise over 1500 issues indicated the level of unhappiness across the supporter base. “BRFC has had a strong history of fair play and a culture that has produced final winning teams in the past. Unfortunately, fans have seen the culture, and thus results take a downward turn recently, and we’re not happy about it. “The RSF expects to meet with the club and FFA to see how we can help return our club to a state where fans are once again happy with their experiences and the performance of the club.” Said McAlister. The RSF will be producing a further report once an in-depth analysis of the survey results has been completed. See the report here: https://roarfans.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2018-Issues-Survey_RSF_vE-prt-sml.pdf

"The former Socceroos striker had similar meetings with AFL coaches during his time as Melbourne Heart coach." Not exactly a sign of good things.

Just bemused by the recent portrayal of Aloisi as this young up and comer, needing his own Mr Myagi, rather than a seasoned A League coach who knows what he’s doing.

Hard to say what’s going on. My take is they’re backing JA, given him a new medical team, a new FD, anew mentor and a new training ground next week ... why? Who knows but it’s oroba because there aren’t many alternatives sadly

Who knows but it’s oroba because there aren’t many alternatives sadly well once he has all this ..he will officially be out of excuses.......or will he ? Next season is the beginning of his future career....or the end of it . He seems to have nine lives so it will be interesting to watch.

He’s an excuse bunny alright, and it doesn’t sit well with supporters does it.
If he doesn’t make finals I think he’s gone. And when you look at what’s coming up in the next month (City H, Victory A, Jets H, Sydney A) it’s a mountain to climb just to hang on to 6th spot let alone fight for 4th.
I don’t think there’s been enough changes yet - he needs someone above him in Brisbane to report to, reporting to a Chairman in Jakarta isn’t cutting it.

I reckon the best thing he could do for himself is get a good offsider who will tell him when he is wrong. Not saying Ross would not do that but I have my doubts about Ross's coaching and tactical abilities.( who knows ? maybe Ross is a genius but John won't listen)
