+x+x+xNewcastle average: 10,887. +2242 on last season, ranked 6th in HAL era. That's what many have been saying. The difference between last and first is 15%-20% Newcastle failed to make the finals 7 years in a row in a league where is harder to miss out than to make it, yet they still managed to get 80% of the support than had they won 7 consecutive years This model that offers fans of small teams a winning team every now and then instead of offering the league as a whole big teams, big matches and big players is flawed Every team is different. Newcastle's crowds are fairly resilient for the simple fact it's the sleeping giant of Australian football. Que..?

Has there been a consumer law change regarding auto renewals? It could be a huge blow re memberships next year.

Thank god Gallop and Buckley got our crowds back down below season 1 levels. We were starting to worry the establishment when we had things like 14k+ attendances, active support and freedom of speech.

Combine this with some vibrant and exciting football on the pitch and we were fools for things were going to get better.

Don't forget Buckley also managed to get the league back down to a manageable 10 teams as well. Got rid of those fan bases that were bringing down the averages

Wellington's crowds this year were nearly below one of Gold Coast's years. And, North Queensland's crowds were actually larger up to the point that they were axed (then obviously they fell through the floor after). It's absurd that Wellington gets a lifeline when other Australian clubs did not.

+xBefore RBB Protest 10,065 6,612 7,041 After RBB Protest 9,266 12,122 Well.... 6,612 was against Perth which the RBB was banned from. Wanderers had free tickets for every member that game it was still the lowest ever attended a league match for the Wanderers. The top three games were also at Spotless and the last two were at ANZ.

I see... So West Sydney, the so called heartland of Australian football, only turn up to games see kids jumping around making noise? There are many reasons why WSW attendances are low which have been covered dozens of times throughout the course of this season. 500 clowns walking away is not going to stop the people from West Sydney turning up to see their team and their allocated selection of franchise players play each week They chose the name. They chose the colours. They chose the ground Their support for the game they are most passionate about was never conditional on who was allowed to stand behind the goal

Clearly Western Sydney crowds have dropped for many reasons, with location of both shut stadiums being one major reason, not to mention the obvious fact we're playing like donkeys. However you'd have to have rocks in your head if you think the club and FFA banning the RBB for offenses that every other fan group has committed hasn't had any negative impact on attendances. It's a whole range of reasons not just one. It's laughable that you'd compare the last home game of the season where only a win would send us to the finals as a stat to prove more people came to the game because RBB wasn't there. It's that stupid your comment that I know you're not that dumb to believe it yourself and really you're only stirring lol. Like in said earlier I really hope that's the case.
