+xyer I agree always worth having a go. Pretty sure 1st's injuries and preserving players incl likely 20's for Saturdays game. I don't agree with this nor do the people I know I spoken with, just as my thoughts why not give the 20's and more so promising 18's a taste vsing PL1, great for them, great exposure to the players/supporters and to the club. An opportunity not taken very sad. edit....from our website : It is with great regret that we have been provided no alternative other than to forfeit our Round 6 FFA Cup match against Blacktown City FC.Our playing roster this week has been devastated by injury, illness and incidents emanating from the weekend fixture. Our three senior goalkeepers are unavailable due to long term injury, suspension and work commitment.FNSW advised that there is provision to postpone the match but it requires both Clubs to agree and for the match to be re-scheduled on a synthetic field for 23 May 2018. However, should both Clubs not agree to the postponement then GRMFC would need to forfeit the match. Our request for a postponement of the match was declined by Blacktown City FC.GRMFC made further attempts to form a competitive team for the originally scheduled match but our position has not improved and we will not be able to field a competitive team. It is a pity that the opposition could not be more considerate and we acknowledge the decision to forfeit has been a devastating blow to all GRMFC club members. There has been great commitment and effort by everyone at GRMFC to reach Round 6 of the FFA Cup.It is a decision that we have tried to avoid but we must concede to the circumstances. We extend our apologies to all affected by this outcome. Clubs can only register 40 players so I doubt any of the U18's were registered. However, Dully played a whole U20's team against Hurstville Zagreb so I don't know why Gladesville couldn't. Clubs (especially NPL sides) should get fined for forfeiting.

Gutted that we are out of the FFA Cup for the first time. Didnt deserve to lose, however we got ourselves to blame, as we couldnt take our chances in the second half.

Tight game, as a derby should be. We should have been a few infront at half time, and lucky to not go behind in the 2nd when u blokes were on top.
Just a shame the after the whistle behaviour was well out of line from a small pocket of your fans.

You guys can talk. i.e - before the game in the club house, and the so called behaviour, by your internal "security guard" that's all i will say on the matter.

LOL, Mate, if I walked into the king Tom clubhouse on game day, filled with united fans, and started chanting macedonian nationalist things, I would expect to be swiftly removed, or worse. Total disrespect. No one was bothering you when you walked in and had a beer like normal people. Your fans were welcomed into the clubhouse like normal people.

I see, so it was the RCS board and security who caused the united fans to carry on, to be evicted by the police, to launch bins onto the field, to launch flares which set alight the roof of the grandstand, to destroy property, etc. Wake up to yourself son. seriously. united hooligans aside, decent game of football, decent crowd in attendance, and unfortunate to see a decent npl 1 side bow out but that's the way the draw goes. always great clashes between these two sides. looking like there will be 7 npl 1 sides in the last round of fixtures (assuming bonno get up against St.George), 2 npl 2 sides, and the blueys. should be some cracking final qualifying round fixtures. no easy fixture that's for sure. still surprised that galdesville forfeited. they must clearly have some serious player issues but yeah I would of thought give the young kids a run. anyway, I'm sure there was a valid reason.

I went to St George FA v Bonnyrigg last night, it was the worst football match I’ve seen in a long time, neither side deserved to progress, Bonnyrigg were lucky with a dubious disallowed goal for St George FA, it also took St George to be reduced to 10 men (injured player leaving the field after all 3 subs used) to score their goal.

I reckon BWE will have a challenge against the Brumbies, they'll go for it its a blue ribbon game for the club.

Semis of WA State Cup this Monday -
Gwelup Croatia (SL1) v Floreat Athena (NPL) Armadale (NPL) v ECU Joondalup (NPL)
Gwelup a good chance to knock over Athena who've had a very inconsistent season - will we see the ethnic cleansing in action ?

Sounds like Covic played a top game when needed. Top win regardless vsing BC. Sounds like Hills gave BWE a fright and Spirit made Marconi work hard. APIA better be ready for the real game the weekend I expect.

Why would Olympic have treated the FFA Cup like not a "real game"? Sounds ridiculous that a Club of that statute wouldn't want to be back on the national stage.
