Not bad for a team on holidays

Wish some people on here would give our team more credit. It's like they take visceral pleasure in talking us down all the time. Sure we aren't Brazil but do get sick of the excuses supposedly from our own fans if we win, and the rubbish of 'oh we aren't a proper football country, aussies are all racists, see I told you so blah blah blah' if we lose.
Nigeria also recently lost 2-1 to England, were the first African team to qualify for the world cup after an unbeaten run through qualifiers, and have a uniform that would look awesome at a rave. They just got beaten by the team we put 4 past.....

Exactly. This has been a great result on all accounts.

If we defeat France it will be the biggest result in Australian football ever.  

Agree totally. We Australians in general are such negative pricks. Support our team FFS.

ErogenousZone. Nope not the most significant defeat of them if we win. The last time we beat them they were reigning World Champions. Big match, screamed myself sore and then got drunk with a group of US soldiers after. So we've done it before
