There's no collective thread for pre-season matches for the A-L clubs so here it is, don't all thank me at once. Jerks just beat Shanghai Shenhua 2-0 (featuring Demba Ba), no idea who scored or when, commentary and text was in Chinese. Sydney also involved in the cup.

Jerks 1-0 up against Changchun Yatai. Hoffman goal off a set-piece, scored in the last game as well.

Roar 4, Logan Lightening 0 - from a couple of weeks ago.
Mainly Roar kids and two different teams in each half. Bautheac scores two.
Missing was Avraam and the new Dane Mikkelsen, Taggart didn’t play but was there signing autographs - other than that all other players were there and got game time or walked around meeting fans.

Jerks 1-1 v Changchun, won 3-1 on penalties. Result means we have won the Super Champions Cup, the first steps to world domination and seeing Hoffman in an Australian jersey. Sydney lost 2-0 to Shenhua because they're shit and have let the Anglosphere down

Apologies, it was Ridenton not Hoffman who scored v Yatai. Adrian missed a Panenka penalty

+x+xApologies, it was Ridenton not Hoffman who scored v Yatai. Adrian missed a Panenka penalty Any idea on the starting XI for the jerks in this game? NTS, Boogs, Petratos and Vargas are still off. Basically same team w/ 4 youth players replacing. Ridenton in McGree's position, Kosta in for Dimi, Champness up front.

These Jets results seem massive.
By reports, the Chinese teams fielded strong sides, yes?

+xThese Jets results seem massive. By reports, the Chinese teams fielded strong sides, yes? Yes, but the quality from both teams was pretty dire, turnovers galore. Thats what pre-seasons for though i guess. on a more positive note, some of the young Jets guys were v impressive.

That’s what I thought. Surely, in the middle of the season, these friendly games are the least of the CSL teams’ worries. Still good results for Jets though.

Ended 3-0 for Glory. Two different starting 11s each half. Used a 3-4-2-1 formation which i was hoping for.

Jets beat a mid north coast select side 9-0 last night as part of their north coast tour. The Jets fielded quite a strong side in the first half, which led to it being 7-0 at half time. I'm not entirely sure what happened in the second half, but I imagine there were lots of changes. The only scorer I know of is Vujica because the Jets posted a video of his enthusiastic goal celebration on their Facebook page hahaha it's definitely over the top, but worth checking out.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
