"The salmon that jumps on the hook" in Paul keating speak. As far as someone goes it is the salmon who ties the hook on the line, adds the bait and then jumps on.

+x+x+x+x+xWell I think we all agree and most members and fans, and our recruiters also, that there is a whole heap of work to do. No point in giving up. As long as we now know the Board etc are recognising, the same as most, where we need strengthening the admitting thar the roster is totally lacking, then we'd br ok with that and can't expect miracles. I do have reservations as to whether Pay is up there as a fg coach and if plonkers like Priest are re-signed that will be confirmed that mediocre tryers are ok in our team. Hope we can set some higher standards. The club knows Dan and Anderson says it will turn around big time after 20. I predict a comp in 22:) Someone close to me had a long conversation with Pay last night at the club he knew him only to say hello but after talking to him last night he was totally impressed at what he heard from Pay. Not only is he a top bloke but he knows what he hasn't got and what we need ... especially a couple of forwards that can hit hard and often. He laments the lack of aggression big time. Whether that happens with getting someone like Hipgrave time will tell as he has an official offer. At least the current coach and admin know what is required, unlike the last lot that were clueless. .. There have been some promising signs the last few weeks, the team is trying hard our ball movement has improved and the style of play is evolving ... it isn't translating into results as we don't have the players ,.... but it doesn't look like the problem is bad coaching at this stage. Pay is absolutely livid at Fib and the lies he told him. I could have warned him about that:) At the board election time, I was very disappointed Pay (apparently) supported Dib and went with some players to support the imcumbents...perhaps they were used as pawns by Fibby Dibby..but I still think it was foolish to show allegience to one group..better to just be the impartial employee. I must add as well that Pay should have made himself FULLY aware of the crazy contracts and spoken to the Spreadsheet Guy about the backends, ratchets, overs etc...but who really knows if he had full access..apparentlyy Madge did...but a lot of goss and or facts are not what they should have been with Fibster....should be formally called to account when the full report card is available. With saying there's only 3 first graders in the squad, yeah its out there and it will take a while to clear those contracts. Morale couldn't be high at present though with the players being spoken of in such a way? I have confidence that we are in much better hands for the future. Norman? I am glad you put the "apparently" in there and that message would have come from Dib himself, a shameless scheming liar and his close allies Hasler and Castle (I know you tried to leave her off because of the netball connection) The new board is still coming to grips with the scope of the bullschite that Dib inflicted. No one would offer any modicum of support for either of those 3 now. Pay has the support of the board and players. Not a rumour and not heard from the bloke who cuts Klemmer's mum's hair. I think that some need to cast any doubts aside.

Reading the account of the Rorters v Titans game, the Rorters were gifted 12 points including one which no body bar the video ref thought was a try...does that tell you anything...is there ever a better reason to hate the Rorters....there is no ceiling on the level to which they should be despised.

Australian Ninja Warrior is a pretty awful show but it reels you in...had to feel sorry for the incredibly muscled bloke who had lived life as a ninja who went out after two steps on the first bit. Very funny bit with young woman who couldn't understand a word Freddy Flintoff said.

+xThey are confident Meaney will handle 1st grade eventually. Whether it is right away will depend on him putting on some muscle in the off season and learning how to put his body on the line in defence. Some Newcastle people they trust had only great things to say about him. Gutherson? LOL

What's with Freddie Flinthoff's accent on Ninja? I can usually make out what he says in the cricket but need 10 seconds after he completes a sentence before i can work out what the hell he is saying. I think i can understand a scotsman easier....

That's what I said about last night's show but he fits in well. You can tell who is going to go badly...the girl with the pink headdress and the cheek riding shorts was no hope.

Trump watch - wow!
Mark today as very significant, mark today as perhaps the beginning of the end.
If you haven't seen the embarrassing, fawning, kow-towing, @ss-licking performance of Agent Orange with Putin in the Helsinki press conference watch it and OMFG!
"Embarrassing", "treasonous", hugely damaging to America" and my favourite "arrest him when his plane lands" - these are words spoken this morning by HIS SUPPORTERS! Even FOXNEWS is in there kicking! Joe Walsh, the original Tea-Party senator and previously one of Trumps biggest sycophants this morning now declares himself a "Never Trumper".
Trump (blissfully stupidly unaware) has forced his supporters to pick between Trump or America and done more damage to himself than anyone ever could.

And btw, anyone who doesn't think Putin owns the buffoon from his toenails to the tip of his absurd hair after that performance is off living with the pixies.
The pee-pee tape is real. And that's just the entree.

Foxsports.com.au understands the club has tabled a new deal to Lewis, but it is yet to be accepted. The new contract is believed to be two years with a player option for a third. The club did not return phone calls in relation to the matter.Lewis and his management appear in no hurry to put pen to paper, although they would prefer to remain in blue and white.

Watch Trump's body language during the press conference. I don't claim to be a body language expert or that I can read it but I can say (and you would too) that you NEVER see the same from Trump with anybody else - NEVER. No chin up looking down his nose here. He's slumping, head down looking up from under his brow.
Your own instincts will tell you it's "cowering", like when a dog rolls on his back and presents it's belly to you.
The submissive in the presence of the dominant.
This dog is in the presence of it's master.

Tony there is a line between unsubstantiated made up crap and contract negotiations. Dealings with Lachlan Lewis do not fall in the rumour category...never have..never will. I note that the Brett Morris rumour is labelled "8" ...does that mean the 8th most outlandish or 8th least outlandish. It could happen...I hope not..I would hate to have to hate someone I like immensely but it will happen if he signs with the Rorters. Note the ref's boss admitted that for the umpteenth time the Rorters were awarded a momentum changing try that should not have been awarded. It doesn't matter that they won by more than 6...momentum killers are the number one game turners.

+xThis dog is in the presence of it's master. Not surprising, but it remains to be seen how that plays out in domestic American politics... Without a certain amount of denial, and being totally divorced for reality, they never would have elected Trump in the first place... For many people it is hard to admit you are wrong and easier to cook up a far fetched conspiracy theory that proves you were right all along... and it is very temping for desperate politicians and their minders/masters to add fuel to the conspiracy theory fire...

+xParramatta are favourites for the game...we get 2.5 start on TAB On paper Parra have the better team.... We have shown some promising signs the last few weeks, Holland needs to fix his defence .... We probably should try starting Brown with Lichaa coming off the bench . early points are more than handy... if we don't win another game all season, I want to win this one.... we are a good chance, Parra are struggling just as badly as we are....

FOXNEWS panel including that English business bloke who's nose has been... previously... planted on Trumps @rse saying of the summit - "Putin wins".
This moron reacted positively to a suggestion by Putin that Mueller come to Russia to "observe" the questioning (by Russian officials) of the 12 Russian indicted by Mueller in exchange for Russian "investigators" being allowed to question Mueller's team about the collusion case.
Get that - the traitor wants to allow Russians to investigate U.S investigators!
He's finished. Forget Mueller, forget Cohen, forget Stormy and all the rest of them, it don't matter no more.
His own people are gonna hang him high.

Is there anybody left, ANYBODY, who wants to stand there and still say Trump is "good for America."?
I get it that most of you Trumpists only support him because you think he triggers "liberals" and... well basically anyone who's not as far right wing as you... like me for eg. Be honest that's why you back him, just because he p.sses off your perceived political and ideological opponents.
But is that worth it? Is that it?
You're that p.ssweak?
