+x+xCmon Big T.... apart from Klemmer and Jackson.... maybe RFM, the rest of our pack of forwards are FEKKED!Fualalo.... what’s happened to him? Built like a tank, yet I’ve not seen him bend the bloody line once this season let alone offload or step at the defensive line.... Priest.... deleteMartin is a good goal kicker and does run some ok lines at times... that’s it for himElliott..... good clubman but refer to Priest Tolman.... can tackle, that’s itLichaa..... this kid belongs nowhere near first grade next year.... ever again! We need 1 or 2 Angry & Aggressive forwards to go with some Speedy & Aggressive outside backs with some form of X Factor for 2019If Oates comes at the right price..... I think that would be a good signing Elliott is OK and improving .. but Klemmer and Jackson are carrying the team to an embarrassing degree at times... RFM, Martin and Tolman are NRL players.... I pretty much agree with your post, but it was compounded by playing the wrong style.... Pay also highlighted that in the press conference, so I assume they are not playing to instructions... I actually think Cogger will make a big difference to our team, as he has the happy knack of getting players to run onto his passes..... Lewis showed some potential but the whole side was guilty of too much passing and not enough hard running.. For the record our attacking spread style looks good to me, but no need to do a spread every play.... Our big problem is outside of Klem & Jackson, with RFM out injured, we don't have a single forward that can wind up, run hard and win the collision..... but putting it in context we are probably playing with 3/4 of a salary cap... and our most potent attacking weapon in Foran is out injured... HD I do find it abit of a worry that all the players of first grade standard you mentioned are all forwards! Where is the balance? We have first grade level back this year, but unfortunately next year we will be short and will be banking on the new recruits to step into these roles otherwise it will be a season similar to this (wooden spoon challenge)

We have first grade level back this year, but unfortunately next year we will be short and will be banking on the new recruits to step into these roles otherwise it will be a season similar to this (wooden spoon challenge) Marki, Villi was talking about a frustrated Tony post, which was about the rumoured signing of another 2nd-rower, in this case, Corey Oates. Tony didn't like the idea, but Villi did & explained why in regards to the forwards (also adding a bit about some aggressive backs wouldn't go astray). Most of Villi's post was about the forwards, that is what HD was mainly commenting on. He did mention Cogger (I agree there) & Lewis in the backs as well. All perfectly sane as far as this page is concerned... or is it....did I miss something? How M.G knows about C'bury & Corey Oates is a mystery to me, could be true or someone could've fed him a red herring. If it's true, I hope they still have room for some backs that can get some points on the board. It's not like Jackson will be dropped, he's going well, so there is a bunch of 2nd-rowers already on the books for the other spot. Not suggesting they'll be rushed into test teams, but the point is they're on the books.

We have first grade level back this year, but unfortunately next year we will be short and will be banking on the new recruits to step into these roles otherwise it will be a season similar to this (wooden spoon challenge) We have issues in just about any position you care to name... all spine players + centres with everyone going... Holland can at least do the attacking side of the game well, The young centre Harper has a lot of potential... Smith and the young winger form Penrith look the goods,,, Meaney & Cogger will hopefully solve 1,7 and moving JMK back to 9 may work.... But most fans of other clubs thinking about the Dogs would say forwards are our strength..... true enough if they are talking about, Klemmer, Jackson, Tolman, RFM, Elliott, and Martin.... throw in Renouf T who definitely has potential... Most of the rest are not NRL standard... Pay is (perhaps mistakenly) interested in Hipgrave and persisting with Priest, as they have a competitive attitude an play with aggression, but both concede too many penalties .. especially for our team which is lacking in points... It is also a fair call that at this stage Priest isn't really up to the physical challenge... Rebuilding is one brick at a time... all we can work on for the remained of this year is changing our attitude and intent in attack, the defence is largely fine.. The hope for the future is that sometime 1-2 good players can make a big difference....

Corey Oats as a backrower might not be a bad signing...
You know if we copped some injuries you could shuffle him out to the backs during the game..
Jacko and/or RFM could easily move to being middle forwards and that might be essential if JMK is playing hooker...
I'm not saying the rumour is true, just that we need to try something .. I'm open to all alternatives....

TONY ...DO NOT POST ANY LINKS OR COPY AND PASTE ANYTHING WHATSOEVER ON THIS PAGE OR FACE ETERNAL DAMNATION!
You are stuffing up the spacing on the page for everyone (or most at least) who use a phone. You did it a few days ago and surely you took some notice of how you inconvenienced your fellow posters.
Just make your statement or share your information and leave it at that...don't attach links or cut and paste.
Please have the good manners to respond and assure us that you understand because we are getting fed up with you stuffing up the page.
Cheers

“Dave is going nowhere,” said Bulldogs chief executive Hill. “He is on contract and there has never been discussions about him leaving the club. We are disappointed that we have to answer another rumour.“David had no desire to leave the club and the club is not interested in David being anywhere but the Bulldogs.”“Dave Klemmer is a player we will build our team around.”Hill said Klemmer filled an important part of the Bulldogs long-term future.“We have never had a conversation with Dave about him leaving the club,” Hill said. More importantly any conversations we have had with Dave recently is about how he will be important to the club moving forward.”

Surely not...a rumour that has been proven to be untrue...call Mr Ripley,,,,Believe it or Not. It was high on the bs meter but Ialso feel the Brett Morris to Rorters will give it a run for its money

Elgey was on big money at Titans he won't be here. Terrible in defence but a much more talented player with the ball and kicker than Lewis, JMK or Cogger.

+xCrighton looked like he was already a Canterbury winger last night!!! Absolute shocker. Didnt see much of him but im mighty impressed with Reimis Smith at the moment. He has improved his defensive decisions since his debut games where he kept leaving his winger. Crichton and Montoya can fight for the wing spot along with Bergamin

All the glitz and fanfare about who is coming to us next year and who we are releasing blah blah blah .. I've seen it all before and most of you in here already know, that any player can be a gun at one club yet become a nuffy at another. I am still happy to enjoy watching us improve, although the losses are hard to take. At least we are in a better position than we were this time last year and I am not talking position on the ladder. I can see a future where the footy is more spontaneous. The game on Thursday night was a lot better than people expected, yes it was littered with some dumb football and a lot of lost chances but, at least we weren't playing that boring, monotonous and predictable Desball that we have been copping for the past few seasons.

Right, so we got a pair here thinking they're triggering me or someone else with pro Trump posts.
Well here's a challenge for you - keep it up. Because I'm interested to see if you manage to trigger somebody before you stop due to embarrassment.
