That late conceded goal might just end up costing us a Pot 1 seeding for the World Cup. Although a win over Japan or even a Draw will probably be enough for now to get us into the Top 6 (hosts France are already in the Top 6). We don't really have any competitive games remaining before December, but all the UEFA Women's teams all still have qualifiers to play. With the Netherlands (Ranked 9th) and Sweden (Ranked 11th) being the biggest concerns of taking our top seed. The team that gets through from the UEFA play-offs still has between 5 & 6 competitive games remaining, that team if they win most of them will end up ranked high as well, so Denmark and Norway also became challengers for a top seed then.
