He is the coaches boss What like a Director of Football ( what Mulvey was in Asia) or the coach's agent? Basically a director of football . IMO that would be more responsibility then just a coach? Its like store manager vs shift manager. Shift manager (coach) generally does more things and has to interact more. But the Store managers runs everything has has to make the big decisions. He'll be badically skyping his team every week I don't care much about anyone who's on Hun Sen's payroll.

Victory definitely was an option though and he definitely was considering it, but we'll still be here once he's reached the heights in Europe.

+xThe marquee system isn't the best. But it's an absolute joke when the governing body is lobbying and assisting a club to get a player. Yes Cahill included. Couldn't agree more - I'm confident that once the shackles are let of, we'll have 4 or 5 Honda level players in the league. Blokes like Eduardo and Diamanti were more than happy to come here, it was only the ridiculous squad and salary cap rules that denied them.

+xIf the Honda deal falls at the final hurdle, you got to put a fork in this whole marquee "war-chest" from Fox Sports.......it's done. Why? without it, it wouldn't have even been a possibility. Deals fall through all the time. The marquee system is dumb and should be scrapped (along with the cap) but as long as its here if the broadcaster wants to put up more cash so what. its not like its been pulled from somewhere else to pay for it. Having said that though, the longer it goes without an announcement the less likely it becomes. Hopefully it does happen.
