Will they be selling tickets at the door Waz? I am keen but the decision to go rests entirely on if getting to Redcliffe after work (presumably through a heap of peak hour traffic) is achievable. So would rather buy them there than pre-purchase and not be able to make it.

Waz, this story was broken on Fox Sports News this morning by Daniel Garb. Vince Rugari has said this isn't happening, however.

I think I'm leaning towards it not happening. I personally am not massively fussed but it'd be great if it did happen.

yeah always sceptical of journos not in brisbane braking news about the roar. It was Garby that broke it so no doubt he got tipped off by someone in the FFA/foxtel rooms. i would think Vince and Marco have better info from the club itself.

He certainly is. Recruitment has been outstanding this year and whether they get this guy or not there appears to have been a systematic approach this year with some real quality in there.

I hope you are right .I haven't seen any of these new guys play yet..but I agree they appear to be good recruitments ...time will tell.
Recruiting is a hit or miss process at any level .Even the best clubs and coaches recruits both duds and stars . Lets hope this guy has at least done everything he could to minimize the duds quotient.
On paper McTaggart, Mauk and Tobias look great . One more good mid would be excellent.

Yeah, and it’s not just an impact on new signings either. Apparently he’s been good for re-signings as well and has brought Roars salary bill down considerably; they were over paying for certain players compared to other clubs. Useful having a bloke who knows what everyone else is paying lol.
