+x+xAmen, he looks absolutely wrapped by the move. Well it is a sight better than Bursaspor I gather. Trent there as well + BVM looking on. Will have to get a PSV jersey now to go with Celtic. How so??

@brisbanebhoy. Now that Dembele has been sold will this make it easier for Arzani to get a game?

+x@brisbanebhoy. Now that Dembele has been sold will this make it easier for Arzani to get a game? Hmmm, different positions and roles. That being said, with Dembele gone, Edouard will now more then be likely be used solely as a forward, and not so much as a winger/forward on the left. So with Dembele leaving wouldn't do Arzani any harm.

Yep. Dembele gone. Massive loss for the club. Griffiths needs to get back to his automatic goal scoring ways. https://twitter.com/CelticFC/status/1035624537843552256

Not a bad piece of business. Paid £500k 2 years ago, sell for £20mil. Still, I would have loved to see Dembele stay, but wasn't to be 😧

Does Dembele going decrease competition for Arzani? As in are they likely to play a winger up top now?

+xFull match for Kruse, got an assist for the equaliser This will go unnoticed since everyone on this board seems to hate Robbie Kruse with a passion lately for some reason. So I’ll say it, nice going Robbie. Second tgis great work. People forget he was our best player 2012-14. Also STILL our best assist getter Taking away mooys set pieces no one comes close to kruse

+x@brisbanebhoy. Now that Dembele has been sold will this make it easier for Arzani to get a game? Slightly, but only slightly. Dembele is out and out CF , wheras Arzani is a WF . However of the 2 remaining CF's Griffiths and Eduoard, Edouard also plays LW so this now means he'll almost exclusively be playing CF for us with Arzani more a shout at LW. If Brendan persists with the 352 might mean Arzani gets a look in as the LCF also

+x+x+x+x+xCeltic have drawn both red bull pieces of shit. Their fans will maul the piss weak supporters at those clubs. It's an abomination that both RB teams are allowed in the same competition, let alone the same fucking group. I know I've said it before but I really don't like the cross-ownership model. I realise that being a Victory fan makes me naturally biased against CFG but I really feel that one club should be one club and an entity owning (and branding) multiple clubs, regardless of whether the ownership comes from an energy drink company or an energy producing Sheikh I really think it's not in the best interests of football. In decades to come we'll look back at this and see where it all started to go wrong. I'm not biased against City, I just dislike the very nature of their club. Melbourne City doesn't actually own any players, they are all in effect on loan from Manchester and if a decision has to be made in the interests of Melbourne or Manchester, Manchester will win every time. Hypothetically, if Arzani had wanted to go to PSV (and his contract still had years to go) and PSV made a good offer to Melbourne (say $2m), Melbourne would be blocked from taking it if Manchester thought they could get more money from loaning him out and hoping he earns a bigger fee next year. If that path risks Arzani's development and loses Melbourne their chance at a payday, who gives a shit? $2m is nothing to CFG and they'd burn through multiple Aussie talents if they think the overall strategy can be profitable. Having a reserve team from Manchester in our league bugs the shit out of me. That does seem to be a worst case scenario type theory, the reality is most young players have and will continue benefit from the cfg ownership The CFG ownership has undoubteldy lifted our league and provided more pathways to Europe. It's being used as a production factory which is benefiting the national pool. They've attracted marques also and boosted fan numbers and infrastructure. I just wish Red bull would now start a team would lift our league again like they've done with Salzburg lifting the Austrian league

Not to bad of a draw for us. ☺ Really?! I think we have the hardest group !! Yeah, really. Our group could have been so much worse. From 'Pot (1)' I was wanting to avoid Zenit and the English teams ('though part of me wanted a "Battle of Britain"). Out of all 'Pot (1)' teams, I was hoping for either 'Salzburg or Anderlecht. 'Pot (3)' and 'Pot (4)' could have been a wee bit easier, yet at the same time a lot harder. Travel wise will be easier on the players travelling to Germany and Norway respectively, then some of the 'Eastern European' locations. On top of that (not that I underestimate them), we have already played and beaten Rosenborg this season (our pre-season - their regular season) during the 'Champions League qualifiers. So the players will know what to expect from Rosenborg. So in short, yes I am somewhat happy with our draw ☺

Teams I wouldn't watch or follow closely if there were no Australians there would be a Huddersfield, Yokohama, Midtjylland or (im sorry) Celtic. And now i have to try a support PSV, which is hard being a Feynoord suppoter and all..

However their games are highly entertaining, are a good club and have a soft spot now. Not a fan of Rangers, however the same way as PSV vs Feynoord, I'd want Sains and Behich to do well. I feel like I adequately dodged your question.
