I'm the same, I follow Aussies around over a team that I'd drop as soon as they would leave. Im sure theres plenty that do so on this forum. Teams I wouldn't watch or follow closely if there were no Australians there would be a Huddersfield, Yokohama, Midtjylland or (im sorry) Celtic. And now i have to try a support PSV, which is hard being a Feynoord suppoter and all.. You have nothing to apologise for... (yet). Hypothetically, if all the Australians at Celtic left, while at the same time a few Australians signed for Rangers would you switched allegiance from Celtic to Rangers?? I'd follow both rangers and Celtic if that happened... sorry lol Yeah. Nah. What?! How is that even possible?? 😕 If that ever happens, feel free to switch your allegiance to Rangers. Above all else I'm a Socceroos supporter. Even above Essendon who I've supported since I was 5. Dunno what it was but that MCG Iran game (which was first full match of soccer I've ever watched) had a profound effect on me. Still remember the pure sorrow after that match and left a burning passion for the socceroos and the sport in me ever since.

+xS. Korea just beat Japan to win the Asian Games. Something that is rare ? It means Son, who captained them to gold, doesn't have to do two years' military service. This somewhat explains their group stage loss to Malaysia as they rotated their whole squad to ensure everyone got an exemption. Apparently due to not finishing high school Son wouldn't qualify for the Army team in the K-League, if he didn't win it would have totally ruined his career. Crazy.
