I have a problem with people who idolize murdering dictators Slinky.  You wouldn't know what happened without  the telecrap stalking.  I like how all these so called journos and their followers make out they have never imbibed more than they should, when they would have done much worse things I'm sure. 

  They didn't molest anyone or dog, or snorted coke while walking down the street in full view.  They didn't bash anyone senseless or stomped on anyone's head which players recently have done and been welcomed back with open arms by the hyocritical NRL.  

I have no time for the self serving media. They are the cause of alot of the world's problem that's a given.
Whether the journos were there or not is not the issue for me or whether they are bulldogs or roosters or clubbers.
I'm just angry with the drinking till you're blind culture that you have to spew on the train, on the footpath and take your clothes off in public and all the problems that come with it to enjoy yourself.

Guys I recommend mostly ignoring this issue, and focusing on enjoying the lower grade games.

The media love putting the boot into the Dogs, but the public have a short attention span, and will move onto the next outrage soon enough.

We can't defend the players, they have to live with it, I hope their mum's give them both barrels. As it is embarrassing for the game, the club, us fans, and most importantly their families.

Dan, at least one newspaper sees it as it really is. If the telecrap had not taken photos and published them, then no one would have know. So it isn't the Bulldogs that brought the game into disrepute it was the telecrap. Secondly it was a private function therefore the media had no authority to take any photos. If I was at a private function and some journo took a candid shot of me and splashed it front page without my knowledge, I would have them charged for invasion of privacy, among a myriad of other breaches. That really is low life scumbag journalism at it worse.

Totally agree ODF SMH put some balance into the issue..but...I think what disappoints the most is that we yet again put ourselves into the situation of helping out those same scumbags by shots of passing out on the footpath and chundering in a public area. 

Just when we start getting positive press and feeling like there is a continuing promising future for the Club, some issue arises and we look like we have shot ourselves in the foot all over again...

Most punters couldn't give a fig if no illegalities committed but the Telecrap will always be on our case and yet again we are selling papers and getting clicks for them...very frustrating to then have to pander to the ba$tards.

I hope the NRL take into account that the Tele has gone out of their way to create the story by active surveillance of the Dogs.

What Marcello did is what plenty of young guys have done in the past, when they have had too many, again without the active surveillance the general public probably would not have recognised him. 

This shows the priority of the Murdoch Media, they have their targets and the pets. At one stage they completely stopped covering state politics in QLD when the LNP was on the nose, and stumbling from stuff up to stuff up. So they are just as good at ignoring a serious story, as they are at inventing a nonsense story. 

I don't know why any intelligent person would buy their papers.
