+xYep 100% we should be giving Sains & Degenek a solid run of games together as the CB partnership heading into the Asian Cup. None of our other options come close to the level those two are at atm. RB is the one position I don’t mind having a ‘non-Aussie’ play for the Socceroos because we are legit that desperate, so happy for Martin Boyle to join if he can help us out there. One of Sainsbury or degenek should play RB as we have Milligan and jedinak as centre back options now. Though I still think Rhys Williams should be playing there. Havent seen a better Australian RB since Emerton in his feyenoord days

+x+xIf he’s not good enough for Scotland why would he be good enough for Australia? We are better and stronger than Scotland and have been since we thumped them at Hampden Park might have been in 2001. lol are you forgetting we lost to them 3-1 at Easter Road in 2012. I think we're about the same level Anyways, Martin Boyle can play RB, RWB, RM.... which is where we're lacking depth, hence why, he's an attractive option. He can play RB?? Looks like a diminutive right forward/ winger to me and that's what I've read about him

I think we're better than Scotland, though they can certainly beat us at home on their day. People are losing their mind with this Boyle nonsense. We don't need to steal mediocre nobodies from other countries. WTF has this guy done to even be considered as a potential Socceroo?

+x+xJesus Fuck. Well PSV got thumped 4-0. Messi a hatrick. WTF happened to this PSV, stage fright ? What a load of bullshit. Out of Champs League already , which means Sains and Behich have only domestic comp games from which to make a case for starting. Boring af Denegek got lucky in that group. What exactly were you expecting? There was definitely expectation of at least a hold out draw or something similar. 1-0 Loss perhaps. I know Barcelona are a freak line up, but they truly got a serving. Wasn't expecting that, Messi has been nowhere near his best either lately. Poor Van Brommel must be yanking his hair out and willing to try anything after that shit performance. Good for Sains and Behich in a way, but could render instability at the club in the next month or so.

Is there anything to suggest Boyle can play RB? I can't seem to find too much on him as a RB, can anyone provide some more details?
Regardless though a little more depth can't hurt. Seems like he could be reasonable and is still quite young.

CL was so distracting last night that there we championship matches on. Full game for Jedinak at CB in a 2:0 win against Williams who got 90min.
Irvine with a full 90 in a 2:1 loss. No Folami. Wright still out. Feredici bench for Stoke. I'd like Fed to come home before retiring.
Luongo vs Meredith tonight. Both starting.

Qadisiya 0-3 Al Nassr. 90 mins for Duncan/Williams and Jones.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

29' #QPR have the goal they deserve! A well-worked corner ends with @MassLuongo glancing a header home. 2:0 QPR on 32 now.

I think I read that Federici will come home as an inaugural Wollongong Wolves A-League player if their bid is successful.

Bowden, I could be wrong but federici is a central coast boy? Might be strange for him to come back to Wollongong. Again, I could be completely wrong

If you look at the forwards/wingers we have available most of them are just pacey and powerful Maclaren Nabbout Kruse Leckie Mabil Duke Arzani (has pace and skill also) Boyle If we play teams were we should dominate then perhaps strikers like Juric and Giannou could be an option

On the other hand, Arnold did manage to get this style to work for a very dominant team, so maybe he could make it work for the NT.

Arnold has already mentioned how he wants to utilise our pace, it will be interesting to see how it goes.
