Saw the highlights, the No.3 defender for the Joeys(I think it’s Walsh or Bos) was responsible for 2 of the 3 goals, the first he made a bad mistake by letting the Korea attacker inside when he should have let him go in his right, the 3rd one he let the attacker come inside and did not make a challenge to block it all of them were preventable.
Based on the comments Australia looked technically quite good with Korea but lacked the speed and power like the Koreans.

One thing I noticed was how quick the Koreans looked in transition, Trevor Morgan made a comment about how well prepared the Koreans were and were ready from the get go and also mentioned the transition was the key and the defenders could not deal with this all game.

Iraq on Tuesday is a must win game, a draw will make it very hard as they need a big win in the last game against Afghanistan but a loss will end there campaign.

Yeah it's surprising that they changed almost the entire defense from last years qualification.

Hammond played and got the first assist.

That 2nd goal was a beauty, not just the nice 1-2 on the edge of the D by Botic and Duzel the former finishing it well but the build up from the back that started the attack off was great football.

With better finishing and decision making they could have won by more given the chances they had with an extra player adv but a win is a win and now they must win the last game to go through to the quarter final.
