https://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2018/09/28/by-the-numbers-how-the-phins-and-dogs-compare/?nrlreferral=trueStats are hard to compare as 2 different comps with different standards, QLD Cup generally a higher standard. But if they were comparable, I would give it to us on stats. My best guess is a close fairly evenly match game, our biggest problem is Brown in the halves put additional pressure on Cleeland. Cleeland can step up for big games, for us to win he needs to play well, unless Brown really surprises me.

I've been rather impressed with Cleeland this final series. Hardly watched any games through the season and when I did, Lewis had impressed me most even though he was playing centre, but Cleeland has kept a cool head in the finals. Our first grade experience should get us home. Will be good for our players to experience Grand Final day.

Twitter posts from both Woolford and Cleeland confirming tomorrow is their last game for the club (apparently).

I watched the QLD GF if we can match or better them in the forwards the fullback is the main danger. In terms of his running game a bit like Ben Barba. Special mention to Sam Kasiano who was close to MOM in the losing side. 3 dumb offloads and a silly penalty cost his team any chance. He is better than that, tried to force the play rather than just do his job.

When I think of Sam I always go to the game vs Tigers at ANZ...I can't remember the year but would guess 2014 or so. 12 all at half time...we were thinking we'll kill 'em in the second half. WRONG! A minute after second half kick off Sam attempts the most ridiculous off load of all time and the rest is history36-12 or thereabouts. The classic case of untapped talent or an overrated player? Perhaps a combo of the two.

I think neither. I think it's all about commitment. Sam's not willing to do the extra's and in fact will do unders whenever he can get away with it.

Watching the first half, we haven't made it easy for ourselves but the ref is giving us no latitude what-so-ever..... must be a queenslander hahaha!

Cleeland with the double right before half-time. 16-6. Big relief after they brought it back to 6-6.

We should win this, the opposition are great in attack, not so good in defence.
Not sure why we are letting Woolford and Cleeland go, I would keep both myself,
Brown's kicking game has me wishing Corey Hughes will play the 2nd half.

Haha.... I was thinking the same thing about Brown’s kicking game
We’ve just got to hold onto the bloody ball
Surely we need a backup No.9??

Come on, boys! They score a length of the field try and then you nearly let them do another from the kickoff.

Glad they put that to bed. Was worried they would blow it somehow.

Congrats to the reserve grade, well done, well executed. I feel the Dolphins shot themselves in the foot but hey....... that's footy. The TV is mow officially off footy, even the missus is not interested. It's too bad we let Cleeland go he does look the goods.

+xGood win, Burr, Toomaga also great. Even Olive stepped up and played a fairly good game. The Dogs are Havin a Party :) The only dissapointing thing to come out of the fantastic won today is the fact that we wont see a Lewis-Cleeland halves combo in first grade. You can keep your Forans, Coggers, and other rubbish. These 2 should have both been given a crack at first grade. Its probably the Johnny Walker XR talking in me now but I reckon cleeland has been the most improved player in this finals series. Great to be on the winning side on GF day!

Cleeland always had that level of ability, but plays best with a good organising half. Struggled for consistency at our club, might have been struggling for motivation when Frawley and Brown were picked ahead of him.
