Saw highlights of the Hibs game.
Milligan played.
I've seen them a bit lately and they look better than most HAL teams. I think Kilmarnock do as well.
It may just be a bit better league than the HAL, particularly with the extra games played. It already looks dark and cloudy in Scotland, even in autumn.

Ipswich manager on Ben Folami, says that he is an example of how hard the step up is, being too inconsistent and going away for a second time this season with Australia means he hasn't been an option but he did score 2 on the weekend. http://www.eadt.co.uk/sport/paul-hurst-on-ipswich-town-youngster-andre-dozzell-1-5715859

What does he mean the step-up? he already made the step-up last season... when Ipswich weren't in the relegation zone. Good to hear he came back into the U23's and scored two though. But again Ipswich probably won't risk chucking on a youngster when they're struggling for points, hope I'm wrong though!!

Lol instead of giving a shot to a young striker they been developing for the last 3 years..

I've been following Folami's situation at Ipswich this season. 1. I'll have to find the article, but in a recent interview with an Australian newspaper Folami said that Ipswich were going to send him on loan this season but they agreed that going to Young socceroos camps was a better idea. Reading this Hurst article, it seems like Hurst didnt think it was a good idea. 2. As others on here have commented, Hurst bought in a lot of older forwards and now they cant score. Winless after 10 games in all competitions, the fans are starting to hate Hurst. Injuries to most of their forwards now but it seems that instead of playing his youngsters from u/23's they will look for some reinforcements from free agents. Begs the question, would it be worth Folami missing the U/20's AFC tournaments if he could get more senior minutes with Ipswich during this injury crisis or does he just wait till either Hurst gets sacked and he tries his luck with the next manager or should he just wait to go on loan in January?

According to FIFA's rules, Folami didnt have a choice...."A club holding the registration of a player called up to play in the national team must release him to the national association on the fixed/set dates for international matches in each calendar year".....

Unless the club can talk the association into agreeing that it's in the player's best interest to stay, and they consent to not call him up.

Kai Calderbank-Park played a full-game for Burnley's U18's team last Tuesday. Oscar Woods was not in the squad.

Unless the club can talk the association into agreeing that it's in the player's best interest to stay, and they consent to not call him up. ie Theoharous is probably in our best U-20 team and wasn't in the last squad as the FFA probably thought it was better that he stay settling into life in Germany. Also with only a single friendly for the socceroos there are the guys called up to the last national team squad. I think Iredale could be called up but I very much doubt Arzani or Genreau will because it will be better for them to be left at their club

Really been enjoying fox sports podcast. The panel agreed that Irvine always seems to be the forgotten man for starting 11's.
This apparent injury isn't too serious I hope. Interesting is if he misses Kuwait, Dougall or others have that chance. I'm really happy with our stocks now. So many getting minutes. Sainsbury, Behich, Arzani and Rogic are of some concern for different reasons.

Complete blackout. Kuwait only 12 days away. Irvine may well miss out.

Not sure if it was mentioned/worth mentioning but Arzani got 65 mins for Celtic reserves, who were down to ten men in the first half, and lost again.
Next international break may do him good tbh.

@johnszasz It’s actually mental hey! Degenek of all players has come out of nowhere to be playing against PSG in the UCL at 24 years of age. Insane.
