+x+x+x+x+xThe conditions at the moment are rarely experienced in Aussie Shield cricket. Come in Peevers and Sutherland's replacement. They want easy batting tracks and drop in pitches. They want Tests to go the full five days to make as much money as possible in Australia. The 20/20 BBL dominates decision making for CA. Agree totally. But we as cricket lovers can do zilch about it. We have to cop it sweet. As members we can do a bit - collectively. However, I'm a political activist against governments at national, state and council level. It is taking up a lot of time. I don't have the time or energy to galvanise TCA members as well. Not many are also keen to become active either, or, take the action necessary to receive the results desired. I don't have the time or energy to galvanise TCA members as well. Not many are also keen to become active either, or, take the action necessary to receive the results desired. Nothing will change with that attitude. We should be the real custodians of our game not the bureaucrats. Asians grow up on these decks. Paks know they made mistakes in the first innings by being too aggressive. Not making the same this time around. Grinding us into the dust. I say when we bat again show controlled aggression.. hit em mentally for a six.

Pakistan are 2-140.
How have they got there?
I reckon a third of Lyon’s balls have been close to getting batters out.

+x+xglad i didnt stay up for that! Yes it is not easy to watch. In fact it is torture. It is easy to lose interest when we are losing. With all the spin, one watches a lot of cricket in terms of ball bowled per hour when cricket is played in Asia. I enjoy many of the unfamiliar venues too. One useful thing is that there is virtually zero chance of rain in the UAE!

The batting of Labuchagne doesn’t look much compared to his fielding and bowling though.

Interesting to see two leg close in fielders and no slip.

If Lyon has taken 2 wickets, who has taken the other one, if Holland already has one?

One thing about Labu, is as a leggie he looks so flat in the air compared to Shah’s loop.

That run out was comical!
Dreadful lack of professionalism from Pakistan. If they weren’t so clearly on top it could have been really significant for the home team.

Labu’s bowling shows promise.
However, he needs to bowl on wickets conducive to developing spinners in Australia, not the current plethora of mediocre pace bowlers who look potent at home, but who are innocuous overseas.

Siddle looks innocuous as an opening bowler. Has he ever been one before?

Sorry to say..Paks look in total control. Our mediocre pace attack is no bother and like all Asians they are masters of spin play. Take note how they smother the turning ball.

+x+xglad i didnt stay up for that! Yes it is not easy to watch. In fact it is torture. Many Australians don't experience what we are experiencing - because they don't see us play Tests outside Australia, particularly Asia. They think we are a champion team, because all they see is us play Test cricket at home.
