The lads keep the ball quite well, but lack combinations in creating clearer chances.

Just get the result, cant do much about the combinations now maybe Milicic could use an extra striker if needed otherwise there is no point in going 433 with two No.8s.

Much better in defense than attack. Been told to foul them before they can speedy counter. Attack seems disjointed and unsupporting at times. Last attack had Najarrine going down the right wing, cuts in but no overlap to pass to so instead shoulder to shoulder with defender who shields the ball out. Hope all this possession means the vietnamese tire out

I feel like with us we are a team of decent individuals, more than we are a decent team. 

Credit to them though, this is probably the toughest group by far in the tournament, The Jordanians should be just as, if not trickier.

Pretty much this, you can tell strongly they lack understanding when they have possession when trying to attack, the lack of forward runs was paramount.
At least there defending was quite good today and that's important but they need to find solutions in attacking phases of play.

Anyway a win is a win, crucial for there confidence going into the match against Jordan.

South Korea could do us a favour and beat Jordan or even the game ends in a draw would be nice for us.

Highlights

Yeah sure and I think they'll come in within 4 years after a few older ones move away. Kruse, Milligan and maybe even Jurman are next. Mooy will be 32 in 2022.
