I'm watching Konferenz so I can't see Robertson tonight. Normally he's pretty good, isn't he? Smith generally did well for Liverpool off the bench but the later matches near his end were poor.

Since 2011 he's has 6300 minutes of club time which equates to 70 matches. Meredith has done that in the last 2 years and this Smith total includes all the youth and reserve games. 

Bloody hell Meredith played more minutes last season than Smith has in his career. Meredith is on 29000 minutes. Smith really should have and probably will get a Championship deal if he wishes to return to England but if the MLS works out then he should stay. 

Had to do it for reference. Sainsbury has 1 year on Smith in his career and is on 12700 minutes. Couple of patchy years but hopefully it'll go up.

Players tend to get rusty when not playing. Minutes are crucial in younger years.
