The split for Roar last season was about 45% full members and 55% 3/5 game members. Less than 50 were non-ticketed members according to a question at a fan forum.
The only number that matters is attendance right, and growing membership is just one way of improving that.
Roar have gone early with their Roar Rascals program because their 2+2 strategy is targeted at kids in the summer holidays and with only 4 games before Christmas, and I think one in the January holidays, the plan is a free game now, and then buy your 2 family tickets at $95 for the two holiday games (this compares favourably with the BBL pricing), and then a free one in the new year. They’ve thought it through.

sorry for being pendantic, but how are the "membershship numbers at Round 1" calculated? is it just the official figure released by each team in the week leading up to round 1? because obviously teams will sign up members at membrship tents at the stadiums this weekend, and we won't know those figures until next week.

Sydney should be ashamed of themselves.
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Greg O'rourke mentioned yesterday in his SEN interview, which I just heard on podcast that the A League doesn't count any memberships other than ticketed members (pet etc). He said they are actually looking at reviewing that system of counting along industry standard like that of the other codes where they are inflated.

OMG
The new figure is 103, 293 but FFA left last weeks club numbers so the club totals equal last weeks and don't agree with the totals... very very very sloppy ...

Sunday 7pm kick off Yep, Sundays are always gonna pull a lower crowd than the equivalent Friday or Saturday game. The next MV home game is another 7pm Sunday game. Seeing as the opponent is CCM, the crowd could be lower still.

hell of a lot of complaints on the Victory social media pages re the 7pm sunday kickoff. very unpopular amongst the fans. much like the sunday twilight games in AFL. attending sunday night sport is definitely not a Melbourne thing. Thursday night would probably work better (not that I am suggesting that).
