I think they might see him as a centre mid or box to box midfielder and trying to develop his defence more?

Just posing the question With Aziz and Trent at PSV, does anyone think they will actually succeed there? Just checked the forums and apparently they are baffled by the fact Behich is a professional footballer and confused why Trent was signed (Forums are not always a good source of balanced opinions however). They also mentioned MVB has admitted to the public he made a mistake signing Aziz? Just seems so frustrating that we get excited by big moves like this and players rot away on the bench. Even more worrying is that they are 2 nailed on starters for the national team. Personally I think Trent will break through in time but will be surprised if Aziz gets many decent minutes from now on.

Surely MVB wouldn’t have publicly said he made a mistake signing Behich, especially so soon since the transfer.
Hoping it was lost in translation or something.

Jong Ajax highlights. Second goal is painful viewing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1AvdhH4ShQ
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Wow, Pasquali was terrible, and he looked slow and even disinterested at times (admittedly only saw the 5 minute video). And the overall standard of the game looked quite poor, some very, very sloppy defending and passing from both teams. I have never seen any Dutch 2nd tier games, but is that video indicative of the general standard?

Not a good game at all, the passing was one thing but the way he got muscled off the ball by that striker should show them he's no CB. Hey, at least he's playing.

Pasquali needs to leave asap, wasting his career playing in a position he has no business playing in.

Folami with 2 goals for Ipswich reserves. Surely he will make their first team bench soon?

Although with Ajax's reputation, we cant keep using the 'education' excuse for much longer.

Pasquali looks slow because he is slow. His days at Ajax are numbered imo. His defence lacks even the basic concept. This was a poor showing and others will decide his fate at ajax if he doesn't leave of his own free will. His options will take a sharp dive with repeat performances like this. Would be playing first team at victory if he had stayed.

Brenton Speed actually has Folami down as an Asian Cup bolter after Maclaren/Juric failed to impress and he scored a few reserve goals. Speedy loves big Folami, but obviously it's way too soon for him. Hopefully he gets a first team look in soon, or snags a loan for the second half of the season or something.

Nah he is playing there because someone took his place in his position and if he ever wins it back he'll probably already be 20 and nowhere near the first team squad/rotation. Which for Ajax, is probably too old with their constant influx of talented teenagers. He may aswell leave, they clearly don't rate him enough compared to the others.

In that case they could have just dropped him, but they've elected to keep putting minutes into him albeit in a different position, which is something.

+xWhere's Pennington playing ? Olbia the club he was on loan at last season. Entella (Cleur) won 3-2 and are now 4 points off top with 4 games in hand after 6 wins from 6. They are 4-6 games behind most teams because their owner thought the should have replaced one of the teams relegated from Serie B for financial problems so didn't play for a while. Edit: 4 points off top, I put 3 originally

So two Aussies Abroad that I am surprised haven’t been looked at over the past few months. Fran Karacic - was close to the WC squad six months ago. Apparently communication issues made fitting in difficult?? His start to this season has been great. Club captain, second on the table, very low number of goals conceded. Plays RB where we surely need a few options. Anybody know if we are still chasing him? Lyndon Dykes. A big and aggressive lad, playing CF, where we definitely need options. Sure he is second tier in Scotland, but playing 90 every week, scoring regularly and second on the assist table in that league. Perhaps he needs a little more time but we should be taking a look. Without bagging the guys currently in the frame for that position, none of them have cemented their position. Has he received a phone call??

+x+xYou want to look at Scottish second tier? Seriously? where else are our strikers mate? he'll get a move to the top tier regardless if he continues to improve and perform. he's only 22/23 Its a fair point. We don't have many strikers at a professional level due to the foreign spots in the A league mainly going to strikers. Not only does this mean that there a few in the a league but also there are few overseas as our young strikers arent getting that pathway to overseas moves from first playing in the A league. I think we need to start looking at others to convert into strikers given our plethora of mids. I think both Rogic and Leckie are prime for being trialed up front. Rogic's weakness in that position is his heading, leckie his first touch. Will be a long time before we produce another Kewell or viduka (or even a Cahill, kennedy, Aloisi or McDonald for that matter ie a striker at big 5 or champs league level)

Ange lost. Langeraks won. Looks like 6 teams on last day could go into relegation play off.
Amazing ending.
